Letters to Editor

January 2011

Dear Desh-Videsh,
I enjoyed reading the article about President Obama’s trip to India. It was informative and gave a good synopsis of his visit. I would have liked to read more a more detailed analysis about the economic impact of “outsourced” jobs to India. A modern look at free trade among nations is of utmost importance in today’s economic times.

Dear Editor,
It is so refreshing to read an article about a true power-house. Wives of powerful leaders are often discounted, but Mrs. Gursharan Kaur proves that women are a solid half of a relationship. She manages to hold her own and serves as an amazing support system for the Prime Minister.

Dear Editor,
Especially at this time of year, it seems that we’re all bogged down by stress. Running around trying to maintain certain lifestyles, keeping our kids busy, and staying on top of our games at work. It never ends! The article about understanding stress really hit home for me. I realized the need to take a closer look at life and begin to eliminate sources of stress. Thanks for the wake-up call!
