ASIAN OUTREACH MINISTRY OF THE PRESBYTERY OF TROPICAL FLORIDA Love
is the most wonderful feeling God gave us. God is love and He gave
this beautiful characteristic
of His personality to all of us as a gift. He gave us the ability
to love each other and Him .God created us with love and we should
love our parents, siblings, spouses, friends, coworkers and even
our enemies. Love is not just a fleeting
emotion, which can change in a moment, but something more lasting,
durable, tougher, infact , eternal, even if that means we risk
being hurt. Biblical definition of love is: Though
I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but not love, I
have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have
the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all
knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing .And though I bestow
all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be
burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers
long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself,
is not puffed up, does not behave
rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no
evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
bear all things, believes all things. Love never ends. Jesus
said, this is My commandment, that
you love one another as I have loved you. I say to you, love your
enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. THOUGHT

ASIAN OUTREACH MINISTRY OF THE PRESBTTERY OF TROPICAL FLORIDA HAPPY
NEW YEAR As we step in to 2009, we need courage to face the
challenges of the New Year. Courage is found when the heart
says NO to temptation or peer pressure. There is courage in saying
NO to our own selfish desires. But courage is more than the right
moral choices. It is the quality we need when life simply seems
overwhelming and every thing seems dark and hopeless. The Bible
offers us a God who is in control, who can see us through the
worst disaster. In
the day when I called, you answered me, and strengthened me with
strength in my soul. The
Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is
the strength of my life; The
Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me. Count
it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
for you know that the testing of Jesus
said, These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have
peace. In the world you shall have tribulation. But be of good
cheer; I have overcome the world. THOUGHT

ASIAN OUTREACH MINISTRY OF THE PRESBTTERY OF TROPICAL FLORIDA HAPPY NEW YEAR, Thank God for all His blessings and for the hardships in the last year. God gave us abilities to do our best in 2008. In few days we are going to celebrate and welcome 2009, and we should give the coming year 2009 in His care. He will take care of our needs. With God’s help we could grasp new opportunities and develop a new approach to life. Let us put our trust in our Lord in 2009 and ask for His guidance and direction. . Let
us not grow weary while doing good ,for in due season we shall
reap if we do not lose heart. For
I know the plans I have for you. “ declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope
and a future.” Many
are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the
Lord that will stand. My
God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory
by Christ Jesus. THOUGHT

decorations and focus on the Nativity scene. The Bible passages
