April 2016 Cover 1

Editorial April 2016

Dear Readers,

By now, many of us may have abandoned those ambitious New Year’s resolutions to stay fit and eat healthy. That said, it’s the perfect time to revisit those goals and remind ourselves that we live only one life! This month, we feature articles that help us all get back on track.

Regular fitness and health contributor Nisha Jani explores ways in which we can be more proactive about our health and make changes to prevent illness and disease. Dr. Henah Gupta, a Clinical Psychologist, offers advice on helping loved ones deal with eating disorders, an illness often considered taboo in our community. We all know that yoga can do wonders for stress, and in this issue Alpa Bhatia explains how yoga can also improve health and prevent sickness

We had a blast in Atlanta last month at the year’s first MyShadi Bridal Expo at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel as well as in Weston at the South Florida show. We congratulate the many couples we met and hope their wedding planning goes smoothly. For all the newlyweds out there, if you would like your wedding story featured in the June Wedding Resource issue, please email info@deshvidesh.com
for more details

Next up is the Tampa MyShadi Bridal Expo at the Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort. As always, admission and parking are free, so stop by and meet with the industry’s best wedding/event planning vendors. We’re really excited about the Destination Wedding Pavilion at this Expo – we’ve got some great venues and travel agents hosting booths. Be sure to register online (myshadibridalexpo.com) to attend!

Here’s to your health!
