Digital Edition 2017

Editorial March 2017

Dear Readers,

As all our readers know, I love the wedding issues – the trends, the couple’s stories, the memorable images. This month, I’m even more so touched having just come back from a family wedding in India. Aruna and I had a wonderful time celebrating with family in a festive spirit that can only be experienced in India.

Though we had a great time, nothing compares to wedding celebrations here in the United States. The fusion of Western and South Asian traditions is unique with every wedding attend. This month’s real wedding stories are no exception – each demonstrates the couple’s personalities and highlights the vendors’ skills in pulling together unique themes.

Do you enjoy reading the stories? Want to see more tips and advice about wedding planning? We want to hear from you! If you want to share your wedding story or give us suggestions for ways to improve the wedding issues, please send an email to editor@deshvidesh.com.

Next month, we’re thrilled to be hosting the first MyShadi Bridal Expos of the year! We’ll be in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, April 30, at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa. On Sunday, May 7, we’ll be in Tampa at the Tampa Convention Center. As always, attendees will be able to meet with wedding and event vendors all in one afternoon. With designer fashion shows, free food samples, and boutique shopping all under one roof, you don’t want to miss this free show happening from 12 noon – 5 pm! Register to attend online at www.myshadibridalexpo.com. Come out and visit us!

Happy reading,

Raj Shah
