As this is the first time where the actress will be holding the gun, Shraddha Kapoor recently shared, “I had to work on holding the gun, which was very heavy. When you hold a gun, the pressure is on your wrist. If you see my wrists, you won’t think they are strong enough to hold a gun, and they weren’t. The first few times that I had to hold it, I faced a lot of discomfort and pain. I started doing exercises to strengthen my wrists, and I used to tape them while holding a gun for a scene to keep my hand steady. After a few days of training, I started carrying the gun with me on the set at all times. I became comfortable with it, and it almost seemed like it’s an extension of my hand”.
This year is going to be a treat for Shraddha’s fans as she has two releases lined up, Saaho alongside Baahubali fame Prabhas, Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore and both have her looking extremely different from each other. Apart from the actress is also prepping for Steet Dancer 3D and Baaghi 3, both of which are slated to release next year.

What do you have in breakfast, mid-day snacks, lunch, evening snacks and dinner?
I have a very crazy diet. Sometimes, when I am disciplined, I follow a certain kind of diet. I wake up and I have six egg whites, some avocado with that. My next four meals I have are set meals which I have in a box which has got 70gms of proteins and some salad, veggies, if at all. I keep tweaking things depending on my weighing scale, depending on the way I am looking. So, that’s one diet of my disciplined phase.
When I am not disciplined, I have everything and anything that my heart desires. I can go pretty crazy.
How many hours do you sleep daily?
Not enough daily. 5 and half to 6 average.
Do you have short meals?
I eat every three hours.
Do you have fruits every day?
Fruits is a part of my diet but not everyday.
Do you prefer seafood? Your favorite seafood?
Fish and Salmon, yes!
What are your favorite fruits?
My favourite fruits are banana, mango when it’s in season. Also apple and watermelon.
Which is your favorite vegetable?
Sweet potato
Do you prefer your vegetables cooked or you prefer them in the salad form?
Well, I like my veggies in salads but I also have them cooked. So, both.
What about Ghee?
Yeah! I like ghee. Ghee is supposed to be good.
Are you a tea or a coffee person?
I am black coffee person.
What about roti? Genhu roti, bajra, nachni, jawar?
No. That doesn’t figure in my diet.

With desserts, I am pretty simple. I like all of them.

EXCLUSIVE: Nora Fatehi opens up about bonding with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor on Street Dancer 3D
Nora Fatehi is creating waves and why not. The actress gave a huge chartbuster with ‘Dilbar’ song last year which was in Satyameva Jayate. The actress, since then, has gone into to star in several peppy numbers including ‘Kamariya’ in Stree and ‘O Saki Saki’ in Batla House. With Batla House, she has forayed into acting as well. Now, moving ahead, the actress will be starring in Street Dancer 3D alongside Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.
The film, helmed by Remo D’Souza, is once again a dance film featuring some of his older cast from ABCD 2. While Nora Fatehi is a new addition, the actress had a fun time during the filming of the movie. Speaking about her role, Nora said, “In Street Dancer 3D, I am the second lead in the film. That’s huge and it’s a step up in my career. There’s a great storyline in the movie and I am playing a really cool role. There’s a lot of emotions in my character, lot of depth. And of course, dance. I am doing different styles of dance that I have never attempted before. You’ll definitely see me in a different light. Being opposite Varun Dhawan is a huge thing for my career and positioning in the industry. To be able to do a film with Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and being directed Remo D’Souza, it, of course, really enhances my positioning in the industry. But, I have given it all the film and I have been able to do some things that I haven’t done before. This will be a treat for the audience as they will see me do several things in one film – act, dance and perform. It’s going to be really fun. I can’t wait for the film to release.
The actress even became good friends with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor during the course of the shooting. The fans have witnessed them goofing around in the behind the scenes videos and photos. Further talking about working with the cast, Nora added, “Working with Varun and Shraddha has of course been an outstanding experience. It’s been super fun and we’ve had a great time on set. Although we worked very hard for the film, we also understood that we really vibe well together and it’s fun we are together, we really did a lot of Masti and enjoy ourselves at the same time while working hard. Of course, we always joke around, we laugh and it’s always fun to be around with people who have great energies and good vibes, who are kids at heart. We are all kids at heart at the end of the day. The experience of shooting with them on Street Dancer 3D is very special to me. When we wrapped up the film, it was really really sad. It’s just a different experience. I don’t think a lot of actors get to experience that on the sets and I got lucky to experience that. I am very grateful to them. Not just Varun and Shraddha, even the other dancers in the film Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, Sushant, all the dancers – if I were to name them all we would be here all day. But, all of them were amazing. The environment on the set it felt like we were back in high school again. It’s so real, positive and fun.”

Akshay Kumar’s last release Mission Mangal has been his highest opener at the box office by making Rs. 27 crores on the very first day. The women-centric film is winning hearts all over the country and revolves around the first successful attempt of ISRO at launching a ship to Mars. Akshay Kumar has successfully become the actor whose pictures usually have an important social message. Films including Padman, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, and Jolly LLB 2 being some of the few, Mission Mangal also addresses a lot of social issues.
During one of the promotional press conferences for Mission Mangal, Akshay was asked whether he fears getting typecast with the series of socially relevant films he has been making in the past. Mika Singh FINALLY talks about attending the event in Pakistan, says, “It was a mistake and it will not be repeated again”
Mika Singh has been under the radar for a few days now after the news broke out that the lauded singer recently attended an event in Pakistan held for the former Pak President, Pervez Musharraf’s family. All hell broke loose when the netizens realized that the event took place after Article 370 was revoked, taking away the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir. The country has been debating over the issue ever since. The Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees decided to impose a ban on Mika.
In a recent press conference held to address the issue, Ashoke Pandit, BN Tiwari, and Mika Singh were at the panel. While there were a lot of reporters who wanted to ask questions to Mika, Ashoke Pandit and BN Tiwari let out a disclaimer saying that everyone was upset with Mika’s performance and had already issued an NC against him. While they were ready to impose a ban on him, Mika approached them asking for a chance to explain the reason behind performing in Pakistan. Turns out, Mika had agreed to do the event long before the Pulwama attacks took place and since it was an old commitment, he went ahead with it.
When a reporter asked him why he went there despite knowing it will cause an issue, his reply was, “I went there because I got a visa, you would do the same if you had one too!” They chose not to answer a lot of questions, but Mika certainly sounded agitated as he was the only one being questioned. He went ahead to point out how Indian singers were still doing concerts with Pakistani singers and how unfair it was for the media to target him alone. Mika went ahead to apologize for performing and said, “It was a mistake and it will not be repeated again.”
In conclusion, Pakistani artists are banned no matter how the Indo-Pak relationship takes a turn. The ban on Mika Singh has, however, been lifted.

Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019: Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar make a stunning pair as showstoppers for Payal Singhal
Two successful decades in fashion is a great achievement for any designer and Payal Singhal has not only carved a niche for herself in the country but also got a loyal following around the globe. Her celebratory collection called “Gypsies and Bohemia” at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 chalked out her DNA and inspirations perfectly.
Selecting her showstoppers carefully to match the theme of the show, there was glamorous, bohemia with a gypsy touch when Payal brought Bollywood’s favourite couple, Shibani Dandekar (who is Payal’s favourite muse) and her beau the very handsome Farhan Akhtar. The pair looked ultra-stylish in coordinated ecru creations. Shibani looked dazzling in a georgette lehenga and choli topped with a tasseled, 3D embellished cropped blouse; while Farhan looked dashing in a printed kurta, churidars and dupatta. The ensembles were splashed with exciting neon wool, floral zardosi work as Shibani and Farhan strutted down the catwalk in perfect unison.
Creating a bohemian Turkish and Moroccan bazaar set on the ramp with Turkish carpets hung above and the mosaic patterned ramp below, the show opened with colours, zest and loads of feisty flavour. Drawing her creative ideas from folklore especially the Islamic architecture and the colours of bazaars in Turkey and Morocco as well as the 10th century gypsy vagabonds; the total mood of the collection was for the free-spirited millennial wanderers.
Payal’s fabrics have always told a rich story with georgette, bits of velvet and organza; while the colours have been adventurous. From neutral white and ecru, the palette moved to periwinkle blue, pale rose and pops of neon with black.
The Payal Singhal collection was a grand study in embellishments, when thread work, cutwork jaalis, leather embroidery, frayed tassels, which were the leitmotif of the collection; appliqués, patchwork, pom-poms, and 3D textures formed the highlights on the garments. Payal’s signature prints came in the form of hand-painted blossoms and ikat.
Catering to an international clientele who loves indie sensibilities, Payal offered jacket-cholis, lehenga-salwars, bomber jackets and deconstructed blazers along with her famed drop-crotch pants, cropped skirts, saris and coordinated sets.
Creating a fashionable impact were the paneled, tasseled skirt/blouse duo, sheer skirt over slim printed pants, kaftans, flared blouse with bell-sleeves, the black long-sleeved, transparent, lean tube over skinny trousers with a bralette and the tasseled blouse/bustier. The solitary sari too had a bohemian flavour with its tasseled edges. Cropped pants and the embroidered hip length, drop waist kurtas, jumpsuit with side tassels, mini coat dress with intense embellishments and the extreme textured, long skirts in ombré and multi-colored ruffles were stunners.
To complete the “Gypsies and Bohemia” look Payal added totes, fanny packs, belt bags, and wristlets. Payal’s men’s wear matched the theme as printed kurtas – some with side drawstrings – bundies, skinny trousers, and churidars added to the look of the collection.

Actor Ranveer Singh posted a topless picture of himself on Instagram and his fans cannot stop adoring him. The 34-year-old star sure knows how to drive his fans crazy with just one picture.
Sharing the picture and flaunting his well-toned abs, the actor captioned it as: “Extra gluten please.”
The picture is already all over the internet and fans and other celebrities are also commenting on the photo. One of the best comments is from actor Kunal Kemmu who wrote, “Tel ki chamak aur look mai namak… Mind ijj blowing.” Reacting to the photo, actress Dia Mirza wrote: “Stop it”.
However, fans of the actor are waiting to see actress Deepika Padukone’s comment on the post. The two are known to drop in comments on each other’s’ social media posts.
This is not the first time the Padmaavat actor has posted a topless picture of himself. Just last month, the actor had posted a topless picture and captioned it as, “Me looking at you eating carbs like.” This picture had also managed to break the internet with fans commenting about his flawless looks.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s film Gully Boy. He is currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s film 83 which is based on the life of cricketer Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone, too, plays an important character in the film and this is the first time the couple will be sharing screen space post their wedding.
Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha spend time with special children in Rajasthan amidst Dabangg 3 shoot
Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are currently shooting for the last leg of their upcoming film Dabangg 3 in Rajasthan. The actors took some time off from their schedule to visit special children of Umang to brighten up their day.
Photos shared by Bina Kak on her social media handle show the actors having a gala time with the kids. Salman Khan even shook a leg with the kids. Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha was all smiles as she posed with the children.
Sharing the picture of Salman Khan dancing with the kids, Bina wrote, “Dancing on the sets …Salman khan spending quality time with children of #umangjaipur on the sets of #dabangg3 ..Special tent was put up for children n they were treated with patties, wafers n pastries by the crew. They all had a ball with their favorite Bhaijaan.”
Salman Khan also surprised Umang School by bearing the cost of solar power for their building in Jaipur.
Meanwhile, Dabangg 3 also stars Arbaaz Khan, Pramod Khanna and South star Kiccha Sudeep. The film’s shooting had kicked off in Madhya Pradesh and then moved to Mumbai. Sudeep will be the antagonist in the film and Dabangg 3 will have two parallel tracks of Chulbul’s past and present. The action sequences between Salman and Sudeep were shot in Mumbai.
The film will be released on December 20 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
