2019 was the year of heart-breaking no big splashy weddings in Bollywood in 2019. In the coming year we hope to see some high-profile couples tie the knot in lavish extensively covered weddings. Here’s assessing the marriage potential of 5 in-the-news couples.
1. Malaika Arora-Arjun Kapoor: No wedding plans for this just-happy-to-be-together couple for various reasons. While Malaika has her hands full of her responsibilities as a single mother (which she would not want to share with anyone else) Arjun’s sister Anshula must be married before he thinks of his own. Hence in 2020, this forever-clicked couple would just be happy being a couple. Any problems with that?
2. Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor: The cynics didn’t give this relationship for more than six months. His commitment-phobic record spoke for itself. But Ranbir has grown older and wiser. He is not the same heartbreaker who dated and dumped Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and other unmentionable names. He wants to settle down. Alia is the perfect bride for the young Kapoor. This is case two highly competitive young achievers in the same profession growing a mutual attraction. BTS takes Times Square by storm, Post Malone, Sam Hunt, Alanis perform at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve
South Korean supergroup BTS, which one of the biggest bands in the world currently, performed at the highly anticipated Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. The band consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook performed at Times Square before the ball dropped.
As the fans around the globe watched them live on their TV screens, BTS Army gathered at Times Square to cheer for the boys who performed ‘Boy With Luv’ and ‘Make It Right’ from last album ‘Map Of The Soul: Persona’. This was also the first time the septet gave a choreographed performance on ‘Make It Right’. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular.
The fans began to line up way early in the morning to cheer for the boys with handmade fan signs and lightsticks. Dressed all black and paired it up with shimmery jackets and coats, the septet took Times Square by storm. It’s safe to say that these boys never fail to impress with their vocals, rap and stage presence.
The show, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Lucy Hale, was headlined by Post Malone.
Country singer Sam Hunt performed ‘Kinfolk’ and his smash hit ‘Body Like A Backroad’ and singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette along with the cast of Broadway’s Jagged Little Pill, Sheryl Crow, Ciara, Dua Lipa also performed at the event.
Benedict Cumberbatch starrer Doctor Strange 2 will introduce new Marvel characters
Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are very excited about the Phase 4 starting with Black Widow. The fans are also eagerly waiting for the sequel of Doctor Strange which released in 2016. Now, some revelations have been made on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that the film will have characters from Marvel that they have always wanted to utilize. During Q&A at New York Film Academy, Feige revealed, “The next Doctor Strange film, for instance, features some new MCU characters which will be making their debut in that movie you won’t expect or won’t guess who it is but we found a cool way to make it work because we want to make a particular type of movie there and there was a character who we always wanted to do something with who will fit really well there.”
Feige also confirmed that Disney+ series Loki will tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness. The film will feature Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) as Feige mentioned she is currently the most powerful character in MCU after Avengers: Endgame and Spiderman: Far From Home. Kevin said, “If you look at Endgame, Wanda Maximoff was going to kill Thanos. If he hadn’t desperately — that’s as scared as I’ve ever seen Thanos. And if he hadn’t said, ‘Decimate my entire team to get her off of me,’ I think she would’ve done it.” Doctor Strange 2 is speculated for the 2021 release.
Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek reveals how playing Freddie Mercury influenced him in James Bond – No Time To Die
2019 was a phenomenal year for Rami Malek who starred as Queen singer, late Freddie Mercury, in Bohemian Rhapsody. While his performance was highly applauded by the critics, he is moving ahead with yet another interesting role and this time as a villain in James Bond: No Time To Die.
This will be the final installment for Daniel Craig who takes on the 007 role for the last time. Speaking about his villainous role Safin in the upcoming Bond film, Rami Malek revealed how Bohemian Rhapsody taught him to avoid being a carbon copy while prepping for the role. “If I went in there and tried to make a carbon copy of someone, what joy or fun would that be for anybody? I guess that may be a lesson I learned from Mr. Mercury,” he told Empire Magazine.
“If it’s not original, then why bother? I’ve pocketed some things from some of my favourites. But I tried to every day imbue this character with something I thought made sense for the character, but might also at the same time be shocking and unnerving,” he added.
Malek also revealed that he worked with his Bohemian Rhapsody voice coach to perfect his accent for the bond villain role. “I wanted to create something that we couldn’t quite peg from any particular part of the world,” he said.

Pop sensation Justin Bieber is making a comeback after four years. He will be releasing his first studio album since 2015. Teasing upcoming music and docuseries, Justin shared the trailer of his Youtube Originals titled ‘Justin Bieber: Seasons’ which will take the viewers behind the scenes and showcase how he creates music.
The trailer showcases clips from his ‘Purpose World Tour’ as his team speaks about the aftermath of canceling his tour. Some never-seen-before footage of his studio, his wedding to Hailey Rhode Bieber. The video also showcases many interviews from his friends and team members including manager Scooter Braun. It also gives a glimpse of his upcoming track ‘Yummy’.
The official synopsis reads, “Justin Bieber is pulling back the curtain and giving fans an intimate look into the past few years of his life. From the joys of marriage to the struggles through difficult seasons, Justin opens up to reveal his biggest challenges as he gets back into the studio to record his first album since 2015. Arjun Kapoor bids adieu to 2019 with a heartfelt note
We begin with a fresh year in few hours, and all the good and bad memories must be running back right now. With the end of 2019, an entire decade also comes to an end. Moments, lessons and realisations of a decade aren’t small. Arjun Kapoor is in a mood to reminisce, and wrote a rather lengthy and emotional note on social media. He begins with how the year was a roller coaster ride for him.
” At the start of 2010 I was a nobody unknown to the world with no real opportunity lying in front of me… today as we close the decade I’m shooting my 14th film. Lots of ups some downs gained an identity lost my backbone in my Mother & Nani forever. Life is a roller coaster we just gotta ride it… I say this to anyone reading this right now… never give up never listen to the naysayers believe in yourself believe that u are meant to do what makes u happy, part of the actor’s note reads.
The writing also reflects on the fact that Arjun has certainly learned to live with all the harshness that comes his way. Professionally, a number of his recent films, including his last release Panipat, did not hit gold. But he emphasises that he’d keep going. “When The Underdog wins it’s always a story worth telling… happy new year to all of you who love me & maybe who don’t,” he adds.

From being an engineer to one of the most popular actors of the tinsel town right now, Kriti Sanon has come a long way. Nothing happens without persistence, patience and continued efforts, and she put all three plentifully. As we bid adieu to 2019, an emotional Kriti shared with us how this decade brought so many changes in her life and put her in a place she wanted to be.
“In 2010, I realized that i wanted to act.. from being an engineer to a model to finally stepping into the world of my dreams as an actor! This decade has been soooo special- A decade of “dreams coming true”..A decade of self discovery, of finding my calling, figuring my craft and above all.. Following my heart ❤️ .. With as many as five releases this year, including a blockbuster Housefull 4 and a hit like Pati, Patni Aur Woh, her 2019 was great. She travels to 2020 with an array of new films that she is presently working on. Upcoming weekend on The Kapil Sharma Show will be full of love, romance and comedy when Bollywood’s most loved duo Ajay and Kajol will be seen having a gala time while promoting their movie Tanhaji. This is not the first time that Ajay and Kajol will be seen opposite each other as a couple and we all can’t wait for their on-screen chemistry to come alive. In a candid conversation, Kapil enquired from Ajay whether his silent nature is an aftereffect of Kajol being the talkative one. Confirming the same Ajay comments, “Yes, this is true. New York magazine mistakes supermodel Padma Lakshmi for Priyanka Chopra
Supermodel Padma Lakshmi who is an Indian born was recently mistaken for actress Priyanka Chopra by a New York magazine. The supermodel took a screenshot of the same and posted it on her Instagram handle and had a witty response to it.
The New Yorker Magazine on their official Instagram handle posted a picture of Padma Lakshmi and tagged actress Priyanka Chopra on the picture. The picture was posted as part of the New Yorkers celebrity cartoon takeover.
Sharing a screenshot of the post, Padma Lakshmi wrote, ” Thank you to the illustrious “@nydailynews” for the shoutout ???? I know to some we all look alike, but ????????♀️… #desilife #justindianthings”
Soon after realising their mistake, the New Yorker deleted the post. However, Padma’s post got reactions from several celebrities including Natalie Portman. One user wrote, “This is the equivalent of tagging Christina Aguilera in a photo of Britney Spears.”
Padma Lakshmi is the host of the US cooking competition program Top Chef. She has been hosting the show since season 2 and even received the Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Reality Host in 2009.

Almost the entire Bollywood is vacationing right now. Given that the entire year goes hectic, everyone wants to take a holiday during the winter festivities and ring in a brand new year at their favourite destinations. Shah Rukh Khan and family, however, ditched a foreign holiday, and went to their Alibaug bungalow instead!
We earlier came across photos of Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, AbRam Khan, Ananya Panday and others having a gala time. Shah Rukh and friend Raveena Tandon were now joined by Ravi Shastri too. Shastri shared a group photo on Twitter, which also has industrialist Gautam Singhania. “Alibag is heaven. Great conversations with some brilliant minds of our times – @iamsrk @officialraveenatandon and @gautamsinghania99 #Blessed #FriendsLikeFamily,” he wrote.
Suhana, who is presently studying in New York, has come home to spend the holiday season with her family. Needless to say, the celebrations are double.
Meanwhile, fans on Twitter are already demanding SRK to announce his new projects on New Year. The superstar was last seen in Zero in 2018, and has remained mum about his forthcoming films yet. Let’s hope New Year brings us some good news!
