Indian Americans Rally Outside Pakistan Consulate in Chicago Over Pahalgam Attack

On April 28, 2025, more than 800 Indian Americans gathered outside the Pakistan Consulate in Chicago to protest the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir. The peaceful demonstration, organized by the U.S.-India Community Foundation and over 25 local organizations, called for justice for the victims and urged global leaders to officially label Pakistan a terror state.

Protesters held placards reading “Hindu Lives Matter” and “Stop Terrorism,” expressing their outrage over the targeted violence against innocent civilians. Community leaders like Dr. Bharat Barai and Amitabh Mittal highlighted the long history of cross-border terrorism and demanded urgent international intervention.

The rally served as a unified stand against terrorism and a strong message to the world about the ongoing persecution of Hindus in Kashmir. Leaders called for solidarity in defending human rights and holding perpetrators accountable. The event concluded with a collective call for peace, justice, and an end to terrorism.
