Varun Dhawan is a busy actor. The actor, who recently wrapped up Street Dancer 3D, has kick-started work on his next project, Coolie No 1. The film is being shot in Bangkok. Sara Ali Khan finished her portions and returned to Mumbai. Meanwhile, a special person is in Bangkok for whom Varun might even skip shoot.
We are talking about his little niece, Ishita. His elder brother Rohit Dhawan and bhabhi Jaanvi Desai Dhawan welcomed their daughter earlier this year. While the Dhawan family does not share many photos of their youngest one, they often like to share cute glimpses. Varun, on Wednesday, shared a video of himself while playing with Ishita. She is sitting on his shoulder as he was goofing around with her and made her smile. He captioned the video, “Manager-u have a free day Varun let’s finish the meeting? Varun- I’m very busy ishita. LOML- love of my life.”
Coming back to Coolie No 1, the film is the remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer. The film will star Paresh Rawal, Sahil Vaid, Jaaved Jafferi and Rajpal Yadav among others. Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, the film is all set to release on May 1, 2020.

Akshay Kumar is on a shooting spree. Right after the release of Mission Mangal, he has straightaway gone to the sets again for his next. The actor has begun the next schedule of Laxmmi Bomb which was stalled due to Mumbai monsoon.
Akshay Kumar, a few days ago, was seen taking a jetty to sets of the film along with his co-star Kiara Advani. The two of them were accompanied by the team members. The actress shared a beautiful moment from the jetty on Instagram as the two actors enjoyed the sunset. She simply wrote Laxmmi with bomb emoji.
This won’t be the first time these two actors will be working together. Before Laxmmi Bomb, Kiara and Akshay have already wrapped up Dharma Productions’ Good News.
Laxmmi Bomb is the Hindi remake of Tamil film, Muni 2: Kanchana. The film was helmed by Raghava Lawrence, who is now also directing the Hindi version as well. Fox Star Studios presents A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House, Laxmmi Bomb, which revolves around a cowardly man named Raghava who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman. This woman wants to take revenge against the ones who destroyed her life.
Besides this film, Akshay Kumar has two releases this year – Housefull 4 during Diwali and Good News during Christmas.

Sameera Reddy, who recently gave birth to her second child, revealed that Hrithik Roshan helped her overcome stammering. During a recent conversation, the actress revealed how she would have a problem while speaking and Hrithik’s sweet gesture completely changed everything for her.
Sameera Reddy said that she would hesitate to talk to people, going for auditions due to her stammering and think that people would judge her. Hrithik Roshan saw that and recommended her a book that changed her life. It helped her overcome her fear. Slowly, she started seeing changes in her speech. Then, she went to a speech therapist and started working on her speech. She added that she can’t thank Hrithik enough for recommending her the book which she still has it.

Rishi Kapoor says Neetu Kapoor was his rock throughout the cancer treatment
Rishi Kapoor, after the release of Mulk last year, headed to New York for treatment. The actor had not informed about his illness until recently when it was revealed he had cancer. Almost one year into his treatment, the veteran actor is gearing for his return to India. Rishi Kapoor recently said that he is hoping to return before Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Since the Kapoor family has celebrated the festival on a grand scale for years, he wants to be part of it this year.
Rishi further revealed that his wife Neetu Kapoor has been his rock and stayed with him throughout the trying times. She shouldered all the responsibilities. He further said that his family has been supportive and would drop in to give him strength during his illness.
Rishi Kapoor said that fans in New York have been so loving and gracious. The taxi drivers would not take money from him, waiters would recognise him at restaurants and say hello to him. He recalled a funny incident when he was at a restaurant where the staff was Bangladeshi. Some of them greeted him. One of their American staff members thought that the veteran actor was ex-staff member that’s why the other staff members were greeting him. Rishi, while heading home, laughed throughout the journey while thinking about the incident.
On the work front, Rishi Kapoor revealed that the makers of The Body starring Emraan Hashmi have been gracious enough to wait for him. He wants to jump into work once he is back. He has two more films.
Karan Johar shares glimpses of the cast and sets of Takht
Filmmaker Karan Johar had announced his next directorial venture Takht almost a year ago. The filmmaker shared glimpses from the prep for the film on his Instagram. He posted two videos on his Instagram story.
The first video story shows a glass wall with ‘Space to create’ written on it and stops at the poster of Takht placed at the corner of a room in Karan Johar’s office. The second video shows a wall, on which monochrome photos of the cast of Takhtincluding Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt can be seen.
If looked at carefully, there are photos of the magnificent sets of the film Takht on the wall beside the photo of the cast. Dharma Productions shared the same videos on their Instagram story and wrote, “Sneak peek into #Takht prep made by Karan Johar.”

The filmmaker during an interview said that he will not apologise for the type of films he makes. The film also starred Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, Édgar Ramírezand Lisa Kudrow. It revolved around a divorced woman who is an alcoholic. She becomes a suspect in a missing person’s investigation.
Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment will produce the official Hindi remake of Paula Hawkins’ 2015 runaway bestseller, The Girl On The Train. The thriller will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
Nikamma: Shilpa Shetty returns to movies with Abhimanyu Dassani and Sabbir Khan’s action entertainer
Director Sabbir Khan is returning to action with his next project Nikamma which will introduce the fresh pairing of Abhimanyu Dassani, son of actress Bhagyashree and singer and social media sensation, Shirley Setia. With this film, Shilpa Shetty will be making her comeback after 13 years.
Shilpa Shetty, on Tuesday, shared photos from the sets of the film as she is excited to be back. “Back on the sets… with #Nikamma in the role of Avni. Can’t tell you HOW much I missed this. We are going to have so much fun @abhimanyud, love you @sabbir24x7 even when you are trying to cover your stomach with the clap.Wah !! Really Clapworthy,” she captioned the photo which featured Abhimanyu and Sabbir.
“It feels great, I am ready to take that plunge again and looking forward to be back on the big screen. It’s a refreshingly unique project and I am looking forward to working with Sabbir. Sidharth has been going under some serious physical training for his role as Captain Vikram Batra, an officer of the Indian Army, who was martyred in the line of duty during the 1999 Kargil war. Shershaah also stars Kiara Advani and is one of the toughest roles that Sidharth had to prep for.

Soha and Kunal first met on the sets of Umesh Shukla’s Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge (2009), which was their first film together. Sparks flew between them during the shooting of 99 (2009), which was helmed by director duo Raj and DK.
Kunal had popped the question to Soha in Paris, in 2014. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on January 25, 2015. They had their first child, a baby girl, whom they named Inaaya Naumi Kemmu.

Sriram Raghavan opens up about big stars refusing AndhaDhun and how Ayushmann was ready to learn the piano for the role

Director Sriram Raghavan opened up about the time when many known faces in the industry were not sure about the film.
In his recent interview, Sriram spoke about how he narrated the script to a few known faces while it was still incomplete and they couldn’t understand how it would pan out. Sriram was sure that if they didn’t understand the script while it was in progress, they wouldn’t be able to get into the skin of the character. Ayushmann later texted Raghavan asking to audition for the part and when he was asked if he could play the piano, he said that he knew how to play the guitar and would learn to play the keys for the role.

Actor Mohnish Bahl, who is back on the tube with his classic show – Sanjivani after 17 years, has been winning hearts of the audience due to its storyline and performances. The actor who turned 58 years old on 14th August, last week, returned on the sets of the show with his wife and children.
Mohnish Bahl’s daughter Pranutan was last seen in Salman Khan Productions’ movie – Notebook visited her father on the sets of Sanjivani along with her younger sister Krishaa. An excited father, Mohnish Bahl took to Instagram to express his happiness and referred to his daughters as his ‘Do Bandars’ (Two monkeys).
The team also celebrated Dr. Shashank’s birthday on the sets as the actor was traveling last week. It was sweet that his entire family was present on set to celebrate his special day. Just yesterday the poster of the Anees Baznee film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was revealed featuring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Though the makers of the film have been rather tight lipped about the rest of the cast, rumour mills have been working overtime claiming that the film will also feature Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. Well, recently in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Anees Bazmee, who will be directing the film, responded to the rumours about Akshay and Sara featuring in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and here’s what he had to say.
Talking about Akshay Kumar featuring in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Bazmee added, “I think yeh thoda sa jaldi hoga mujhe bolna. Because already hum log work kar rahe hai, and dekhiye kya hota hai. Akshayji ke saath bahut saari filme ki hai, Welcome, Singh Is Kinng. Badi khoobsurat yaade rahi hai, unke saath bahut acchi acchi film ki hai. We have a great relationship, bahut pyaar. Mujhe bhi bahut khushi hogi agar woh honge and unke yahan bhi hai ki bhai koi na koi film mein jodna hai. Toh abhi mujhe lagta hai thodasa early hoga bolna. But let’s hope for the best.”
Later, addressing the rumours of Sara Ali Khan featuring in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Anees Bazmee continued, “Nahi, abhi woh kar rahe hai hum log final. Abhi board pe jo hai sirf Kartik hai. Main abhi thoda sa editing mein busy hoon, meri film Pagalpanti ke liye. So after 15 days, jo hai na we will start thinking ki kya hai kya nahi hai. But bahut hi khoobsurati se sab hoga.” Though, Bazmee chose to be rather cryptic his non-committal stance on whether Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan will feature in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has certain caught our interest.
As for the film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar under T-Series and Cine1 Studios. It is being written by Farhad Samji and Akash Kaushik. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is scheduled to release on July 31, 2020.
