Dear Little Taimur,
Three years of relentless attention and you still continue to wave and smile at the paparazzi. You are indeed a very special child. So special that you must stop being treated special. Does that make sense? Someday, you will understand what it means to be so special that you are not constantly reminded of your specialness. I think your gorgeous grandmother…no, not that one the other one…Sharmila Tagoreji understand the perils of the preposterously premature paparazzi attention better than anyone in your family. She said, some day you will be able to understand what you went through when you were a small child.
What will you make of all this crazy attention when you are old enough to process it? It is something that we will know when we will know. In the meanwhile those around you will constantly remind you of how special you are on this special day. Sorry Rekha. Not she. You, Taimur are the chosen one. There are so many other superstar-kids born to exceptional celebrity parents in Bollywood. Why don’t they get the attention that you do?
Come to think of it, the unreasonable attention at your tender age need not be a bad thing. How many celebrity children can claim they were superstars when we were toddlers? Not even Shirley Temple and Macaulay Culkin. The big minus to this blessed life of adulation birth is the lack of normalcy in your life.
On your birthday I wish you a day free of media attention. I wish you would have a normal birthday with cakes, candles, balloons and family. But I am sure it won’t happen. The photographers will line up from early in the morning. They will follow you everywhere. Portals will write about your clothes, shoes, accessories.
As you turn 3 I can only wish and pray for the attention to shift from you to another star kid. Maybe Anushka Aunty and Virat Uncle will help you with this problem. Maybe you can put in a request? Until that happens, you can only do what you are doing. Enjoy being the biggest Khan superstar of the country. And grow up, fast. Akshay Kumar wants to do a two-hero film with you.
I never heard him say that about his son. That does mean something, doesn’t it? Happy Birthday, Taimur. I hope the photographers will at least let you have your cake and eat it too.

Mardaani villain Tahir Raj Bhasin appreciates Mardaani 2 villain Vishal Jethwa
Mardaani 2 starring Rani Mukerji as a cop released a week ago. While the film has been having a decent run at the box office, several moviegoers have been appreciating the film for its performance and story. The film has received incredible appreciation from media and critics and is riding on hugely positive word of mouth. In the film, Rani Mukerji’s character Shivani Shivaji Roy is set out to nab a serial rapist who systematically targets young women.
The brutal serial rapist is played by the brilliant debutant Vishal Jethwa. The debutant is being appreciated for his commendable performance in the film. The pure evil of a villain, Vishal, has become the talk of the nation with his spine-chilling villainous act in the film. His pure evil act has earned him rave reviews and many have called him a ‘revelation’!
Recently, Tahir Raj Bhasin who played the antagonist in the first installment of Mardaani took to Twitter to appreciate the actor. He wrote, “Hey @vishaljethwa06, Great work in M2. Mardaani has always been close to my heart and it is super to see the franchise grow. May this be the start of amazing things to come.”
Recently, Vishal had opened up about how he had prepared for the role. He said, “To transform into Sunny, I used to put a chair in the middle of the room and I used to vent all my anger, all my aggression towards it as if it was a person. I used a rod to hit the chair, abuse at the chair, shout and scream at the chair as if I was Sunny and I had to cause pain. I was exhausted after this process because Sunny is a person no one should ever become. Our film warns of people like him.”

Kiara Advani reveals Salman Khan called her parents to congratulate them on their daughter’s success after Kabir Singh
Kiara Advani, aka Alia Advani, debuted in the year 2014 with Fugly. She was launched by Akshay Kumar and cut to 2019 she has two films with him – Good Newwz and Laxmmi Bomb. The actress recently said that she was lucky enough to get an opportunity like that. She also revealed that her family is close to Salman Khan as well.
Kiara Advani recently said that she believes in destiny and Fugly was meant to be her first film. She is fortunate that through her parents, she can reach out to Salman Khan any time who has mentored many young actors. After the success of Kabir Singh, Kiara revealed that Salman had called up her parents to congratulate them and told them he was happy for them and that she was doing well as an actress. She said that she reaches out to him for advice and he is very approachable. He said to her that she should work hard and good offers will come her way.
Interestingly, it was also Salman’s advice that Kiara should change her name from Alia since there can’t be another Alia in Bollywood.

PANGA: Kangana Ranaut, Jassie Gill, Neena Gupta share a laugh in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s slice of life film
The first look of the Panga, a slice of life sports drama, starring Kangana Ranaut dropped yesterday. The look, which shows Kangana in a very relatable and sweet avatar garnered a lot of praise. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film revolves around a 30- something protagonist who’s a professional kabaddi player.
Recently, in a conversation with a daily, director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari spoke about working with the actor, “Kangana and I have become friends over the two-year journey of the film. I have realized that when she loves someone, she will take care of them all her life.”
Panga is the first collaboration between Ashwiny and Kangana, and the two bonded really well, both on and off the sets. The bond is quite visible on social media as well, and in the interview, Tiwari revealed how the duo stuck together during difficult times during the course of the film, “There were times when she was really upset, in tears. As a friend, I could only support her. If everyone keeps commenting, she will be affected. It’s only human.”
Kangana puts in her best foot forward for every role, and Panga is no different, and the actor underwent a physical transformation for the role. “Kangana had to put on some weight, but her body type is such that it doesn’t look extra on her. She immediately lost the kilos, but has put them back for her next. I don’t know how she does it over and over; I have difficulty losing even once.”
The film also stars Jassie Gill, Richa Chadha, and Neena Gupta. When asked about how the cast got along, Ashwiny revealed that the entire team was like a family by the time the film wrapped up. Panga is scheduled to release on 24 January 2020. Post that Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Thalaivi and Dhaakad.
Happy Birthday Taimur Ali Khan: Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan host Christmas themed party
Taimur Ali Khan turns 3 today. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son happens to be the internet’s favourite child who often gets paparazzi-ed. The star parents organized a Christmas themed party for their baby boy on Thursday inviting some of their family members.
In the morning on Thursday, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her sister Karisma Kapoor were seen at the venue of the party to check out the arrangements. She wore a red dress and sunglasses. Taimur was seen dressed in red shorts and a blue shirt.
For the party, Kareena changed her dress and wore a polka dot outfit as she arrived at the venue with her husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur. Saif Ali Khan looked dapper in grey polo tee and blue jeans. The birthday boy wore a black T-shirt, white pants and cool brown cowboy boots.
The party saw Karisma Kapoor and her daughter Samaira, Babita Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan and daughter Inaaya Naumi, Karan Johar and his kid Yash in attendance.
Earlier, speaking about his birthday plans, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, "Taimur’s birthday plans, we are going to be here (in Mumbai). I’ll be promoting the film and Saif is here. We will be spending time with the family. He will have a small little get-together with 8-10 of his friends. He definitely has demanded two cakes and not one. He is a Kapoor (laughs). He is like, ‘I want two cakes. One Santa and one hulk’. I said, ‘Why two?’, he is like ‘Two!’"
The decade power: Tiger Shroff and his potential to become the BIGGEST mass star of his generation
This decade saw the rise and fall of the biggest stalwarts from the industry. While a lot has been spoken about the star-power of the actors, here’s a series that analyses in-depth the strengths and weaknesses of the top 10 Bollywood stars, and ranks them based on their performance this decade taking into account factors like magnitude of success, opening day collections, consistency, potential, awareness, and loyal fan following. The one who scores high on all the fronts will be crowned the STAR OF THIS DECADE.
Number 9 on the list is Tiger Shroff and here’s a report card at how he fared between 2010 and 2019.
2010 till 2015:
In 2014, Tiger Shroff made his acting debut with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti alongside Kriti Sanon and the film proved to be an ideal launchpad for a newcomer in the industry. It showcased his skills in dance and action, and right from the first film; the unique combo made him a popular entity among the masses. While the critics didn’t really give him the chance, there are ample people within the trade, more importantly, producer Sajid Nadiadwala who knew that Jackie’s cub had the potential and signed him on for another action film, Baaghi, which released in 2016.
2014: Rs. 52.92 crore (1 Film)
2016 to 2019:
His faith was right, as post Heropanti, Tiger had become a sellable entity by himself and his second release, two years later alongside Shraddha Kapoor reinstated the fact that the man is here to stay and leave a mark among the masses. Baaghi opened with a bang at the mass belt thanks to Tiger in action backed with good production values and hit music, and proved to be a smash hit which resulted in the birth of an action franchise on the lines of Hollywood classic, Rambo, with Tiger being termed as the Desi Rambo. Baaghi and Heropanti were followed by The Flying Jatt and Munna Micheal. Both the films were disappointments, primarily because the hero of masses wasn’t presented in an avatar he was known for. The two films also showcased the limitation of Tiger’s stardom due to his limited acting skills; the reception suggested that an acceptance beyond action and dance film would be difficult for the actor. Two setbacks and Tiger got back to what he is known for – Action. He returned on the big screen with a blockbuster in the form of Baaghi 2 and the opening day figures of the film surprised everyone in the industry. It took an extraordinary start of Rs. 25 crore plus on a partial holiday, more like a non-holiday, an opening day number that was breached by just Salman Khan and Aamir Khan until then on a non-holiday. Mind you, Tiger managed to cross the Rs. 25 crore threshold on a non-holiday much before the bigger and experienced names like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan and that in itself proved his pull among the masses with an out and out action film. His upcoming release, Baaghi 3 too will spring in a pleasant surprise as far as day one is concerned.
At this point of time, he is easily the biggest mass star among his contemporaries and certainly stands the potential to attain a following similar to Salman Khan, provided he makes the right choices. Though, unlike Salman, who found acceptance in action, drama, romance, and comedy, Tiger’s acceptance might certainly be limited to action and dance. However, getting even close to Salman as far as raw stardom in the B and C centers would be a great achievement for Tiger, and he does have the potential. He then came up with the sequel to Student of The Year, which took a good opening, again more so in the mass belts due to Tiger’s popularity however the poor word of mouth resulted in it being a below-average grosser. His last release of the decade, a two-hero film, War with Hrithik Roshan again proved to be a massive success thereby being the first Rs. 300 crore earner for both the leads and it would indeed be unfair to not give any credit to Tiger in this, because all through his career, he has proved his pull among the masses.

The number-crunching analysis:
Our understanding suggests that despite the limitations in terms of genre, Tiger stands the potential to be the true blue action star of India. In a span of 5 years, he acted in four action films, and every succeeding film earned more than the preceding one, thereby, throwing some light on his growth as a star among the masses. We have personally witnessed the madness at single screens on Tiger’s entry scenes as well as the mass punchlines, and seeing that, Tiger + Dance + Action would always make for a lethal combo, and just needs a decent heroic presentation to sail through. It has happened in the past, as neither Heropanti nor Baaghi or their sequels were great piece of cinema, but they delivered what was promised which resulted in numbers.
Where does Tiger go from here?
Well, as stated above, Tiger should keep on capitalizing on his strength as that would enable him in escalating the trust among the masses with every passing film and attain a status that any star would merely dream of. No one from his generation has catered to the masses to the extent that Tiger has, and this is the biggest plus for him. Experimentation in the form of genre would be advised once in a blue moon to avoid repetition, however, variation in action, action, and action blended well with dance, dance, and dance is the way forward.
However, he needs to make sure that he doesn’t overexpose himself in the genre, plans his releases in a manner that the audience gets a breathing space. 3 action films in two years is the ideal route that Tiger should take with each one getting a gap of approximately 8 months, as that would create the urge and demand for the actor as well as his films. His next, Baaghi 3 seems like a sure shot Rs. 20 crore plus opener, and he does have a good gap of over 7 months for his next release, Rambo, which again can take a solid start at the box-office.

Tenet Trailer – John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Dimple Kapadia star in Christopher Nolan’s ambitious film
The first trailer of Christopher Nolan’s highly awaited film, Tenet, has arrived and we can’t wait for it. The film stars Robert Pattinson, John David Washington, Dimple Kapadia, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Without revealing much in the trailer, Nolan gives a glimpse into the mysterious world of Tenet featuring BlacKkKlansman star John David Washington. Nolan, speaking to Entertainment Weekly, recently said, “He’s (Washington) a massively talented actor and physically gifted,” Nolan said of the BlacKkKlansman star, who is a former professional football player. “He’s an athlete and pretty hard for anybody to keep up with, including the different vehicles we shot him from — cars and helicopters. [Laughs] This guy moves.”
Tenet is being filmed across seven countries. And it will be filmed as per Nolan’s preference using IMAX and 70mm film. It will be an action-packed film. Warner Bros. will release Tenet in theaters on July 17, 2020.
Street Dancer 3D: Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor couldn’t make the cut for Muqabla new version!
The trailer of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D was dropped yesterday, and the audience loved it, to say the least. The energy of the ABCD franchise is infectious, and Varun and Shraddha are ready to take it a notch higher.
Meanwhile, the film features a recreated version of AR Rahman’s ‘Muqabla’, picturised on Prabhu Dheva. Interestingly enough, the lead pair was also a part of the new version in the film! In a recent interview, Remo revealed that both Varun and Shraddha were really eager to be a part of the song and they even shot one sequence. But that didn’t make the final cut; their part was removed from the final version.
Nora Fatehi, who acts in a pivotal role, also revealed that she was initially never offered the film. However, she was keen to work with Remo, and asked him to cast her in his next when they met during the shoot of the track ‘Baby Marwake Maanegi’. And there you go, she got lucky!
The film is slated to release on 24th January, 2020.

The film, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, was originally slated to release this December. However, the makers announced a delay, citing that they did not want to compromise on the visuals, especially the VFX aspects, and would rather take longer and come up with a great film. Given that team was shooting in Manali until a few days ago, however, it doesn’t look like it will make it to theatres this summer.
Bigg Boss 13: Paras Chhabra’s girlfriend breaks silence on his proximity with Mahira Sharma

Kareena Kapoor Khan says Kartik Aaryan should NOT use dating apps
Kareena Kapoor Khan is back on the radio. Well, the actress ventured into radio with her own chat show called What Women Want where she spoke to several women about their successes and the issues they have faced in their lives. The second season began earlier this month with Sharmila Tagore as their first guest. Their second guest is the current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan.
Kareena Kapoor Khan asked him whether if he has ever used a dating app. “No, I never felt the need,” he said. However, it was Kareena whose response gave a hint that Kartik might in a relationship. She teased, “Especially now, I don’t think you should be on a dating app.” The actor agreed with her.
Kartik Aaryan has been rumoured to have dated Sara Ali Khan who is his co-star in Imtiaz Ali’s film. There were rumours that the alleged pair parted ways recently.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan has a line-up of pretty interesting projects including Good Newwz, Takht, Angrezi Medium and Laal Singh Chaddha.
Saina Nehwal is all praises for Parineeti Chopra
While Parineeti Chopra gears up to portray the role of the badminton star Saina Nehwal on the big screen, the versatile actress has recently visited the sports legend’s home in Hyderabad for the first time! Praising the actress and her determination to pull off a challenging role like this, Saina was quoted as saying, “Playing a sportsperson on screen must be very challenging. I know how tough it must be for her to imitate my style on the court. I just wanted to tell her that I’m with her wherever she needs me. Today, Parineeti knows the lifts, serves and certain shots. She has come a long way in a few months. It will be an emotional moment to see my life unfurl on the big screen.”
“Releasing my biopic around the Olympics will pose a challenge for me. But it will be different from a lot of sports films. In the middle of my ups and downs, a lot has happened and it makes for great content. It must be tough for Parineeti to make it look like she has been playing for 20 years. I’ve been seeing her practice videos where she is trying to get her shots right. Parineeti is what the film needed. She is the perfect choice to play me on screen,” Saina adds.
Not to mention the method actress stayed at Ram Sheth Thakur International Sports Complex in Mumbai to prep and shoot for her character for the first time. The film is already on floors and Parineeti is deep in prep.
