Dance India Dance 7: When Jabariya Jodi stars Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra set the stage on fire with Kareena Kapoor
From watching her dance on ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ to ‘Raat Ka Nasha’, fans of Kareena Kapoor Khan are having a gala time to see their favourite actress grooving to her chartbuster numbers on the small screen as the co-judge of Dance India Dance 7. Amidst the same, actors, who often make guest appearances on the show owing to their film promotions, also are enthralled to share the stage with the diva. The recent one to do so is Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra who were on the show for Jabariya Jodi promotions.
After Hasee Toh Phasee in 2014, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra have come together for an interesting romantic comedy set in the heart of Uttar Pradesh. The Jabariya Jodi is currently in the midst of promoting their forthcoming film and recently attended the show Dance India Dance 7 where they were, needless to say, left awestruck by the dancing talent of the contestants. Considering all the impressive dance performances around, the actors too couldn’t stop themselves from taking to the stage and putting up a fun performance. They obviously requested the diva Kareena Kapoor Khan to accompany them and the fun sport that the actress is, she was more than happy to share the stage with them.

On the other hand, coming to Jabariya Jodi, the film revolves around the infamous practice of kidnapping grooms in Uttar Pradesh, albeit with a quirky twist. The film, directed by Prashant Singh, is slated to release on August 2.

Judgementall Hai Kya the title has raised quite a ruckus. The film brings you back together with Ms Kangana Ranaut after Queen. How much has your equation with her changed between then and now?
I was just starting out at that time and she was always very sweet to me and she still is. Kangana is one of the finest talents we have. It’s always great fun when you work with someone so talented. We gel really well whenever we are together on set. She is very passionate about her work and that’s very motivating….It’s an edgy entertaining thriller. It talks about two very interesting characters. Can’t tell you much about the story line but all I can say is, that it is a very interesting genre.
Raj, last year was extraordinarily rewarding for you. Do you feel equally fulfilled this year?
Both 2017-2018 were very fulfilling and I feel very good about this year too but honestly I feel very happy about working and acting every day and to create these new different characters in such wonderful stories. This year it was Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which is such an important film in today’s times then I have Judgementall Hai Kya and finally Made in China which am really really excited about.
Actors like you, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal are seen as the neo-superstars of Hindi cinema. Do you agree?
We all are doing some very interesting work and so are many other actors of our industry. I am just very happy that lot of different and real films happening now. I have always believed in stories and content and even our audiences are welcoming these stories now and that’s what we want as makers.
How has the newly acquired stardom changed you? Do you find you’ve less time to spend with your loved ones?
It hasn’t changed me at all. The only thing that has changed in life is that I am way busier now than earlier. My loved ones understand my work duties and as long as Love is there, there won’t be any complaints I guess but I make sure that I spend a lot of time with my loved ones. Whenever am not working I dedicate all my time to them.
Saw Patralekhaa in Badnaam Gali and she was so honest in her performance. When do we see the two of you together again on screen?
She was brilliant in Badnaam Gali and she has another really good film starting soon now. We’re waiting for something exciting to come our way. We both make our own choices and we both have to like the story and our respective parts in it to say yes to a story. Lot of people loved us in CityLights, where she was the best in the film. I hope something very interesting shapes up soon.
What is the status of Stree 2 are you in it?
Oh yes, I am in it. We’re taking about it for a while now and it’s definitely in the pipeline. Hopefully you will hear the announcement soon.
Priyanka Chopra – Nick Jonas Wedding: American singer explains the significance behind ‘saat pheras’ and it is too cute to be missed!
It’s been over seven months and the hoopla around the globally popular couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tying the knot, continues to make news. The two of them who are quite frequent on chat and talk shows, have been asked about their lavish Indian wedding affair on almost every occasion and the stars too quite tirelessly are more than happy to answer all the questions! Interestingly, every time they have a unique revelation to make. In fact, in a recent American chat show, Nick Jonas took everyone including Nickyanka fans by a surprise when he shared his thoughts on saat pheras. 
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in a grand yet private ceremony in Jodhpur wherein they had a Christian and Hindu traditional wedding. Followed by that, there were over three receptions held in the country for close relatives, industry friends and media. Recently, Nick Jonas, who is busy with his music commitments and promotions, attended the Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party that is hosted by Martha Stewart and American rapper Snoop Dogg. During the same, when Nick was asked about the wedding, the singer not only described how beautiful it was but he also explained the meaning of saat pheras leaving Nickyanka fans impressed!
He said, “She comes from a big Indian family. I obviously have my brothers. we got married in Jodhpur, at a palace there which was beautiful. Obviously there was good food, good music! So you do the pheras, in which we do seven walks around the fire that symbolises seven lives together. So, I am locked in for good now.” His response actually left everyone around in splits. Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan were seen in Luka Chuppi and their chemistry was really loved by the audiences and the critics alike. Luka Chuppi had the biggest box office opening for both Kriti and Kartik. Revolving around a couple trying to hide their live-in relationship from their respective families, this comedy drama film made its place in the audience’s hearts. When quizzed about the situation, she said, “We had a fun banter about it and we felt like there was no need for us to give a justification. Rumours can arise from anywhere and that’s why they’re called rumours.” She went on to reveal that they had talked on WhatsApp regarding the same and that they are perfectly cool with each other.

Kiccha Sudeep meets Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn
Kiccha Sudeep is a busy man juggling work between Hindi films and South. The actor will be making his way to Bollywood as the villain in Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3. While he continues to shoot for the film with Chulbul Pandey, he bumped into Bollywood’s Singham Ajay Devgn recently.
Kiccha Sudeep shared a picture of both of them meeting and wrote, “A true Gentleman. Was a privilege meeting u @ajaydevgn sir. Moment Treasured.”
Kiccha Sudeep is looking forward to the release of his next film Pehlwaan. The movie is releasing in five languages – Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
It also seems like his stint in Dabangg 3 will be action-packed. The film, helmed by Prabhu Deva, is slated for December 20, 2019 release.
Bhumi Pednekar celebrates her birthday with smiles, love, and flowers!
Bhumi Pednekar is celebrating her 30th birthday today and we, at Bollywood Hungama, reported yesterday about how her mother and sister have flown to Lucknow to bring in her big day. Bhumi is currently on a month-long shooting schedule for Pati Patni Aur Woh and like her other birthdays; she will not be throwing a bash for her friends and family this year. So, to accompany her as she turns 30, Bhumi had a low-key celebration with her mother and sister.
She took to her Instagram to share pictures from the celebration and we’ve never seen anyone this happy when they turn 30! Hrithik Roshan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Super 30 team meet Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu
Super 30 actor Hrithik Roshan is enjoying the positive response for his latest release. The actor is starring as Anand Kumar, mathematician, who teaches underprivileged students for IIT-JEE. The film has been made tax free in Bihar. After his Patna visit, the actor flew to Delhi where he met the Vice President of India.
Hrithik Roshan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Anand Kumar met the Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu for an enlightening discussion on Super 30 along with Madhu Mantena & Shibasish Sarkar in Delhi. Hrithik shared some photos from their meet up and wrote, “It was an honour to meet Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President Of India. Had an enlightening conversation – his thoughts truly reflect the depth of his knowledge. Thank you for the opportunity Sir. @VPSecretariat.”

’83: Ranveer Singh goes for a diet variant of Nutella spread (read deets)
We all know how addicted Ranveer Singh is to sweets, especially Nutella! Well, as he is shooting for one of the most challenging films of his career so far, he is looking visibly fit as the Haryana Hurricane – Kapil Dev for ’83. There is a bunch of experts monitoring Ranveer’s diet and exercise for the movie.
It was revealed that because Ranveer is so fond of his Nutella, a healthy variant has been developed specially for him by his diet expert Anmol Singhal. It consists of avocado mousse which is rich in protein and dark chocolate chips to suit Ranveer’s palate.
In addition to this, Singh has been eating a healthy diet of jalapeno and crisp bacon omelette that comprises rolled oats, eggs, topped with mixed nuts and fresh berries.
’83 directed by Kabir Khan is slated to release next year. The film has a huge star cast headlined by Ranveer. It includes Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiiva, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and Pankaj Tripathi.
’83: Ranveer Singh and team can’t stop laughing as Chirag Patil breaks the bat during net practice
After two months of training which started from April 2019, Ranveer Singh and team kick-started the shooting of Kabir Khan’s directorial ’83 in Glasgow. The actor is starring as Kapil Dev, Captain of the World Cup-winning Indian cricket team of 1983. The film shooting began in June. While we have seen Ranveer’s transformation into Kapil Dev and team’s hustle to learn the nuances of every cricketer of the 1983 team, it seems like their training days were pretty hilarious. 
A video from the sets is now going viral on social media which sees former cricketer Sandeep Patil’s son Chirag Patil breaking his bat during the net practice. In the video shared by Chirag, Ranveer Singh and Sahil Khattar among others are seen pulling Chirag’s leg for breaking the bat. Commenting on Chirag, Sahil says, “This here is a real man of steel. Sandeep Patil’s son, Chirag has broken the bat. It was Sandip’s bat.” After seeing the bat, Ranveer adds, “Wow bro.”
Tracing the historic victory of 1983 world cup, Kabir Khan’s upcoming directorial is being presented by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment. Touted to be the biggest sports film of the country, ’83 is slated to hit the screens on 10 April 2020 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It marks the first-ever trilingual release for both, Ranveer Singh and director Kabir Khan.

Rishi Kapoor has been in New York for a while now, recuperating after his treatment. In fact, while there, the veteran actor and his wife Neetu Singh have been playing host to a number of Bollywood celebrities who dropped by to visit. Away from the filmi circuit, Rishi and Neetu were recently seen spending some quality family time with their daughter Riddhima and granddaughter Samara.
Sharing an image of the four on her Instagram account, Riddhima added, “#lafamilia #borsalinofamily???? #love&onlylove #nolookingback”. Posing for the camera, the four were snapped sporting hats with broad smiles all around.
On the work front, Rishi Kapoor is expected to be back in Mumbai towards the end of August and will resume work post that.
FIRST LOOK: Rajeev Khandelwal is the new cop in town in Pranaam
Ever since the makers have launched the first look of their upcoming film Pranaam which has Rajeev Khandelwal in the lead, the curiosity among the fans has risen up. And now, still from the film where Khandelwal is dressed as a cop has come out. When asked the director Sanjiv Jaiswal, he says, “That’s a small but very pivotal part of the plot. Revealing more than that will give away the story.”
Interestingly, actor Ayushmann Khurrana was seen playing a cop in Article 15 whereas Akshay Kumar is all set to play one in Sooryavanshi. Rajeev, who is known for films like Aamir and Table no. 21, plays a peon’s son in Pranaam who aspires to be an IAS officer though the turn of events changes his path leading him to turn into a gangster.
South actress Sameksha Singh is the female lead opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. The film also has a terrific ensemble cast with Atul Kulkarni, Abhimanyu Singh, Vikram Gokhle and Aniruddh Dave playing the pivotal roles.

The poster and teaser saw Ayushmann Khurrana donning a saree and from the looks of it, the film promises to be a quirky entertainer.
As many trends on twitter are going viral these days, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a glimpse from his film Dream Girl and joined the #SareeTwitter bandwagon. During Article 15 promotions, Ayushmann Khurrana had spoken to exclusively to Bollywood Hungama about Dream Girl and said, “Dreamgirl is really unique, really interesting because I get to wear a saree in the film. It’s about a guy who plays Sita in Ram Leela. Traditionally, in our country, we have all seen guys playing Sita, so I’m one of those. He has the unique talent of taking out voices of both male and female. It’s like a full-on commercial film.
