Dabangg 3: Chulbul Pandey adds a twist to Hud Hud song with a new hook step
‘Hud Hud Dabangg’ is one of the most iconic songs in the history of Bollywood. In the third installment of the franchise, the song is back in an all-new avatar with a lot more dance, entertainment, and whistle worthy sequences. ‘Hud Hud’, the title track of Dabangg 3 has an added twist with Chulbul Pandey bringing in a new hook step for the world to groove on.
The title track is indeed one of the most anticipated songs of the year, and the fact that just the audio got nearly 10 million views on YouTube alone is proof. Chulbul Pandey shared the song on social media with this post.

The video of ‘Hud Hud’ is the first to be released from the album of Dabangg 3, and gives a glimpse into how massively entertaining the film is going to be. Shot on the Ghats of Ahilya Fort in Maheshwar with more than 500 background dancers, ‘Hud Hud’ showcases everything audience associates Chulbul Pandey with, entertaining, bold and larger than life. Apart from the catchy hook step, the song showcases some daring sequences which leave the audience wanting more. The song has been choreographed by Shabina Khan, composed by Sajid-Wajid, lyrics by Jaleees Sherwani and Danish Sabri, and vocals by Divya Kumar, Shabab Sabri, and Sajid.
The much-awaited Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Salma Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi under the banner of Salman Khan Films and is slated to release on 20th December, this year.

Anees Bazmee promises to cast Salman Khan’s Veergati co-star Pooja Dadwal
Showbiz can be quite a cruel place to work in, given that even a few months away from the limelight can hamper your growth. Actor Pooja Dadwal, who starred opposite Salman Khan in the 1995 film Veergati, is presently struggling to find work and sustain, after a six-month long break.
After her story was published in a newspaper, filmmaker Anees Bazmee expressed his wish to helo Pooja out. He promised to cast Pooja in one of his films, and said many others from the industry would also be glad to help her out.
Pooja, who was diagnosed with tuberculosis, spent half a year at a hospital, recovering. Now that she has recovered completely, she wants to make a comeback to films.
Anees, whose next directorial venture Pagalpanti is slated to release in a few days, said he doesn’t mind twisting his film’s plot or compromising with a certain character if that lets Pooja in. Saying that he will write a suitable script for Pooja, he also emphasised that it shouldn’t like an attempt of sympathy on his part since Pooja is a genuinely capable actor.
Apart from Veergati, Pooja was seen in films such as Dabdaba, Inteqam and Sindoor Ki Saugandh.
Shah Rukh Khan begins the shoot for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to share the screen space for the first time with Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The movie is a sci-fi trilogy and is clearly one of the most awaited films of 2020. The makers even postponed the release date to summer 2020 stating that the VFX team required more time than expected resulting in the delay. If anything, the delay in the film’s release has only resulted in increasing the anticipation.
With an elaborate star cast that includes actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna along with Mouni Roy playing the antagonist, this movie is surely something to look out for. Salman Khan powered Dabangg concert in Dubai was a MASSIVE success
It was well past 10 in the night on November 7th at the majestic Coca Cola arena in Dubai and Salman Khan stepped on to the big stage, tied his shoe laces and started rehearsing for the eagerly anticipated Dabangg Reloaded concert. I’ve been covering all the sold out shows of Dabangg the concert tour in various parts of the world but the way Salman rehearsed that day told a different story. He slogged hard for over an hour and tried perfecting each step while his t shirt was totally consumed with sweat. Mudassar Khan, the noted Choreographer, later told me that he has never seen Khan rehearse like this for any of his shows ever before. I knew it, that Dubai will witness something really special. And that’s exactly what happened the next day.
Sohail Khan of Sohail Khan Entertainment along with Jordy Patel and Adil Jagmagiya of JA Events, the pillars behind Dabangg concert tour, ensured that it was a super well-oiled behind the scenes machinery that was taken care of at every level. When it was time for lights, music and action in front of the 15000 strong crowd, I could feel the adrenaline rush as I parked myself in front of the stage ready with my mobile phone, the weapon that shoots out the pictures, videos and live updates from the show.
Salman Khan kept his promise of a great show. The superb entry, hysterical crowd, a unique mix of his old and new songs and a perfect jugalbandi with the hard working background dancers ensured that the crowd enjoyed a truly memorable performance. His second act was the romantic round where he was joined by the fascinating Katrina Kaif, sensational Jacqueline Fernandez, thrilling Sonakshi Sinha and talented Daisy Shah.
Katrina, Sonakshi, Jacqueline and Daisy delivered fabulous individual performances. Prabhu Dheva, the magician dancer enthralled the audience with his supreme moves. Guru Randhawa turned the Coca Cola arena into a discotheque as the crowd danced non stop to his tunes. Maniesh Paul’s hosting was top class. He invited four ladies for Salman’s Swayamvar and what followed thereafter was crazy fun. The awestruck fans danced and interacted with Khan.
Aayush Sharma opened the concert with a spirited performance. Later in the day he jammed with Salman on Dhinka Chika and it was synchronised to the core. Kamal Khan was the other surprise package. His rendition of Oo Jaane Jaana was cheered on by the crowd non stop.
The night came to a resounding end with a grand finale as all the artistes came together for a non stop breathless show of high energy.
Dabangg concert in Dubai was a grand success. It also announced the intentions of Salman Khan loud and clear that he’s just starting off. The burning ambition is going to trigger many such entertainment blitzkrieg.
Good Newwz posters: Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh are left clueless by the ‘biggest goof-up’
Want some good news? Here’s one. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Good Newwz has been in the news for the longest time, but the posters are finally out. For anyone who doesn’t know, the film revolves around two couples, trying to obtain parenthood through IVF. However, there’s a big-time goof-up, and the posters are proof.
The first poster has an extremely confused Akshay squeezed in between two pregnant women. He was probably in for a surprise, and not a very pleasant one! ”Squeezing’ in some #GoodNewwz for you this #Christmas season. Stay tuned, the biggest goof-up of the year is coming your way,” Akshay wrote, sharing the poster.
The other poster features Diljit Dosanjh, who has been paired opposite Kiara Advani in the film. Diljit, albeit he is sandwiched between two pregnant women as well, flashes an amusing smile. “There’s always someone who ends up with the same #Christmas present as you,” the caption reads.
The third poster has Kareena and Kiara, both pregnant, happily flaunting their baby bumps while the husbands look absolutely clueless!
Akshay and Kareena, who play a married and well-to-do couple, are reportedly trying for a baby in the film. Diljit and Kiara, a Punjabi couple, are of the same intention. We assume the pregnancy is where it all goes wrong!

Bala director Amar Kaushik opens up about his second hit in a row
Amar Kaushik couldn’t be in a better place. His directorial debut Stree, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, was the surprise success of 2018. And now Bala is hit-machine Ayushmann Khurrana’s career’s biggest opener.
“I feel humbled and relieved. All of us in the team worked really hard to ensure that the film dealt with a serious subject, but didn’t get too dark or preachy in tone. We could have tripped over at any point. But the tone held,” says Amar who has served as assistant to Rajkumar Gupta and Onir.
“I feel I’ve trained under the best. The two things that I feel are essential to my cinema are realism and humour. I can’t direct films that are not rooted to reality. I have lived in Kanpur and many of the experiences that Ayushmann’s character goes through in Kanpur are my own. At the same time whether it is a horror comedy like Stree or Bala, humour has to be constantly present in my films,” says Amar.
He gives a lot of credit to his writer Niren Bhatt and his amazing cast for the ring of authenticity that sounds across the film. “For every character we got an actor who got just the face we needed. For example, Dheerendra Gautam who plays Ayushmann’s brother, is local Kanpur boy with no acting experience. He is a rapper and we just felt he would be right.”
Amar says the film was planned with Ayushmann in the lead. “It was Ayushmann from the start. His dedication was exemplary. He lost a whole lot of weight because we wanted a certain awkwardness in his body language as well. When he came on the sets we didn’t see Ayushmann we saw only Bala.”
When asked what the rise of the working class hero Amar Kaushik says, “I think the era of the relatable hero that Amitabh Bachchan Saab and Rajesh Khanna Saab popularized is back.”
Since the release of Bala Amar Kaushik has only been hearing wonderful things about his film. What did his family think of it? “Well, my daughter fell asleep halfway through the film,” Amar laughs.
Ayushmann Khurrana scores with his slam poetry on being a real man
A poem recited in a video by Ayushmann Khurrana on the occasion of International Men’s Day has gone viral. In the brilliant recitation, Ayushmann is heard breaking the macho stereotypes of manliness, gently telling us that it’s okay for men to feel the pain, their own and that of the others.
Says Ayushmann, “It’s slam poetry, a popular form of protest against blind conformity. That is what I’ve been doing in my films also, breaking stereotypes. Playing the hero who doesn’t conform to traditional standards of mardangi comes naturally to me. This poem, which is actually a part of a campaign to promote a brand of men’s accessories The Man Company, that I am associated with, was written by Gaurav Solanki, the writer of my film Article 15.”
Ayushmann says when he heard the poem he immediately identified with it. “I’ve always believed masculinity is not about muscles and swag. It is about sensitivity towards your partner. It’s about caring and sharing. All these thoughts are echoed in the poem. I decided; why not use that platform to make a point?”
The response has been overwhelming. “People are listening to me. It is important that I use my voice effectively.”
The slang poetry that Ayushmann recites so effectively in this video is written in a colloquial style using words which are readily accessible to every strata of society. The elitist tag attached to poetry is thereby eliminated.
