Before they made it official a couple of months back, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor dated in secrecy for a couple of years. Not that their hush-hush business stopped us from assuming, but guess they were waiting for the right time to come out open on their relationship.
And now, wherever the actors go, they are bombarded with questions relating to different aspects of their relationship and whether marriage is on the cards. In a recent chat show, Malaika called Arjun perfect in every aspect but also revealed the one thing Arjun couldn’t manage. Money! She thinks Arjun is legit bad at managing money. Hmm! Given that the actor happens to be the son of a film producer, anyone would think he understands finance really well.
Malaika was also candid about the kind of wedding she wants, and mentioned that she would love to have a beach wedding with all her girlfriends in attendance. Hope Arjun is taking note!

Calling the video his dream sequence, Tiger Shroff, who plays Khalid in War, dedicated it to his idol Hrithik and his heroine in the film Vaani Kapoor. Ranveer Singh says he will beat Deepika Padukone someday in Badminton
Ranveer Singh often likes to interact with his fans. He is an avid social media lover and often loves to go on Instagram to talk about his day to day life. Just a day ago, during an Instagram live session, Ranveer had a special guest. It was none other than Deepika Padukone who left some comment s on his Instagram live.
During the chat session, Deepika dropped some compliments like, “Looking cute AND hot!” To this, Ranveer responded, “Thanks baby, wow, a rare compliment from my wife, I must really be looking good today.”

Kartik Aaryan set to rock the show again with Pati Patni aur Woh
Kartik Aaryan is on a roll, and how! If 2019 started on a rocking note for him with Luka Chuppi, the year is set to conclude on a further high with Pati Patni aur Woh. Going by the rollicking promo of the film, the young star has another major hit under his belt on the way.
The fact that the film was a remake of the Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta star was a good enough reason for curiosity to build around what the team had to offer. Of course, since the original was set four decades back, there was also a question around how the Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey starrer would be set in the current times and come across as topical and contemporary.
Well, all such doubts have been laid to rest as the promo indicates a fun ride all the way which is as relatable as it gets. It is quite apparent that Kartik is pretty much in the thick of things when it comes to getting the part of Chintu Tyagi right. Though he has played a mischievous character in almost all his films since the days of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, there is some kind of variation coming in Pati Patni aur Woh, what with Kartik getting into a middle class avtar with a marital status to add. No wonder, from someone who couldn’t really gather what was the big deal about being in a relationship (Pyaar Ka Punchnama series, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety) is in an altogether different zone this time around, courtesy relationship with his ‘patni’ (Bhumi) and ‘woh’ (Ananya).
What is remarkable is to see the youngster grow in confidence film after film. Of course the fact that he is coming after three big successes is further helping the cause and that’s something translating in his act on screen. However, what’s adding on to this all is the spicy character that has been written for him, the dialogues that he has been given to mouth and of course the hilarious situations that have been created for him.
As for the film as a whole, the promo has already done its job and amongst the youth, Pati Patni aur Woh should find very good traction on its release. With audiences lapping up all the entertainment that films have to offer in the current times, Kartik can well heave a sigh of relief and now wait for audience reactions once Pati Patni aur Woh opens in exactly one month from now.

Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting for the Netflix Original film The White Tiger along with Rajkummar Rao. The team of The White Tiger is currently shooting Delhi. Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to share a picture of herself enjoying a dessert. However, it was no ordinary dessert, as Priyanka was amused to find Indian currencies sticking out of the bowl. Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of herself looking at the dessert and another picture of just the dessert.

The White Tiger is the adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s debut novel of the same name. The novel created quite a stir the moment the book was launched. It also won him the Man Booker prize in 2008. The White Tiger will also feature debutante Adarsh Gourav.

Coolie No 1 actor Varun Dhawan does the ‘thumka’, says it is not easy at all
Filmmaker David Dhawan’s next directorial Coolie No. 1, starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the leading roles, is currently being shot in Mumbai. While the shooting schedule is pretty hectic, the cast is making sure to keep it fun on the sets of the film.
Varun Dhawan, on Tuesday, took to Instagram to share a video of himself doing the desi thumkas along with the choreographers. Whilst learning the steps he confessed that it was not an easy at all. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Yeh easy nahi hain try kar ke dekho bhai (sic).”
Coolie No 1 stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan reprising Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s roles from the 1995 blockbuster. It will also feature veteran actor Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles. The film has been slated for May 1, 2020 release.
20 years of Hum Saath Saath Hain: “Salman Khan’s role gave me SLEEPLESS nights” – Sooraj Barjatya
20 years ago, Hum Saath Saath Hain opened on this day, a few days before Diwali, and as expected, it opened up to a bumper response. After all, it was one of the most awaited films of that year, featuring an enviable star cast of Salman Khan, Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Mohnish Bahl and Tabu. And moreover, it was directed by Sooraj Barjatya, whose previous film Hum Aapke Hain Koun was one of the greatest blockbusters in the history of Indian cinema! And unlike Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain had a pan-India wide opening, in 350 theatres. Audiences flocked for the film and made it the biggest grosser of 1999 as it earned Rs. 39.18 crore. In today’s times, that’s equivalent to Rs. 274.25 crore!
On the joyous occasion of 20th anniversary of Hum Saath Saath Hain, Bollywood Hungama went through the making footage and found some very interesting information with regards to the film’s cast. “The casting of the film was very crucial. I wanted 8 artists for 100 days (for the shoot of the film),” says Sooraj Barjartya and then goes to explain how each and every actor was selected and why he/she fits the bill. The actors too spoke about their experience.
Sooraj Barjatya’s earlier two films – Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Maine Pyar Kiya – both had Salman Khan in the lead and it was natural that for Hum Saath Saath Hain, he approached the superstar, for the role of the middle brother Prem. “Talking about Salman bhai is like talking about myself. I think he’s one of the finest human beings I have known,” admits Sooraj. In the previous two films, Salman portrayed an outgoing character but in Hum Saath Saath Hain, he was supposed to essay a shy, sensitive and soft-spoken person. No wonder Sooraj confesses, “This is one role that has given me sleepless nights because I have played with his image. But I think his performance has come out wonderful in the film!” Salman, meanwhile talks highly of his director, “We are more like brothers. We are two different people but we have lot of similar qualities. I am very fond of him and he cares about me a lot”. And then he makes an interesting observation, “Prem in Hum Aapke Hain Koun was Sooraj in real life at that point of time. Now he’s grown and matured a little more. And Prem in Hum Saath Saath Hain is how he is now. So what he is in real life is portrayed by me!”
Sonali Bendre meanwhile was floored at the narration stage itself as she says, “I had four hours script narration of Hum Saath Saath Hain where Sooraj ji even hummed my background score for me! I was flabbergasted! I never had this kind of narration ever in my life before. I knew exactly what I was supposed to do as everything was given to me on a platter.” Sooraj Barjatya however praises Sonali without giving himself any credit. He says he was amazed by the prep she did for the role of Preeti.
As for Mohnish Behl, he too had worked with Sooraj Barjatya in both Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Maine Pyar Kiya. But it was the sensitive performance by the actor in Hum Aapke Hain Koun’s climax that made Barjatyas offer such a pivotal part of Vivek to him. Mohnish meanwhile shares that he couldn’t believe he was offered Vivek’s character and he called it ‘an opportunity of a lifetime’. Tabu plays his wife, Sadhana, and Sooraj make an interesting comment about her, “She is one actress who surprises the director. There have been so many instances where I wanted a particular kind of reaction from her and she even agreed to do so. But she ended up doing something very different and initially it seemed that she didn’t emote. But when I saw the rushes, I realized that every expression, the movement of the eyes etc was spot on!”
“Saif Ali Khan is a very natural actor. You cannot bound him by definite instructions,” explains Sooraj Barjatya, and somewhere it fit his character of the younger brother cum brat, named Vinod. Saif too like others was surprised by the script and narration. He tells, “I didn’t expect such a good role. I would have been happy with anything (including a smaller part). The script is so beautifully written that you just have to say the lines, probably copy how Sooraj ji is trying to get you to do it, and not try to do or add anything extra”. As for Karisma Kapoor, who plays Sapna, Sooraj Barjatya reveals, “She gives so many variations in a performance. She is one of the most hardworking actresses I have come across. Her enthusiasm shines on all of us”! Karisma called working with Sooraj a ‘dream come true’ experience, “I have been his great fan right since Maine Pyar Kiya,” she admits.
Lastly, Sooraj Barjatya exults that he is obliged to Neelam Kothari for accepting the role of Sangeeta, the only sister in the family, further adding that she added a lot of grace to the part. Neelam, who had almost stopped working in films, admits that she took around 15 days to make up her mind whether she should sign this family entertainer. Mahesh Thakur, who plays her hubby Anand, says that working with Sooraj and the rest of the Barjatyas gave him a ‘kick’!
At a time when multi-starrers are rare and where filmmakers have confessed that getting two-three actors together is next to impossible, one can’t help but smile while seeing these making videos of Hum Saath Saath Hain. Every actor seemed happy with their respective part and the credit should also go to Sooraj Barjatya for giving importance to each and every one of them in the film. Here’s hoping we get many more such clean, star-studded films in future!
Aamir Khan reveals Laal Singh Chaddha logo with Pritam’s soundtrack, stays faithful to original film, Forrest Gump’s opening sequence
Aamir Khan began shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha on October 31. It is one of the most ambitious projects for the actor and is also one of the most awaited movies of 2020. His mother Zeenat Hussain gave the Mahurat clap to begin production. The film is the Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 film, Forrest Gump.
Aamir Khan, on Wednesday, shared the first glimpse of the film with the logo reveal. The video has Pritam’s soundtrack with a feather flying in the sky. Aamir captioned the video with the lyrics of the song that goes, “Kya pata hum mein hai kahani, ya hai kahaani mein hum…”
Interestingly, this was the same opening sequence in the original film Forrest Gump which was directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, and Sally Field
Aamir Khan will be sporting a beard and gaining a whopping 20 kgs to fit his character properly. Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of the Hollywood classic Forest Gump. Written by Atul Kulkarni, the film is helmed by Advait Chandan and will be produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions. The movie is slated to hit the theatres during Christmas 2020, next year.
The original film Forrest Gump depicts a slow-witted but kind-hearted, good-natured and athletically prodigious man from Alabama and several decades of his life, specifically the period between his birth in 1944 and 1982.

Disha Patani is one of the fittest and hard-working actresses that we have in our industry today. The charming beauty has given back to back blockbusters right from her debut in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Come 2020, and we are going to see her in three incredibly different avtaars. She would be seen in Mohit Suri’s upcoming movie Malang opposite Aditya Roy Kapur and one would get to see something special from Disha in this movie.
Later in the year, she would be seen teaming up again with Salman Khan for Radhe. This is the second time that Disha will be seen together with Salman. The first being, Bharat in which Disha’s portrayal as Radha was much appreciated by the audience and the crowd went berserk seeing her shake a leg with the Bhai Jaan on the ‘Slow Motion’ song. With Radhe, it is expected that things will get bigger and better. The movie is slated for an Eid 2020 release.
Apart from these, Disha would also be seen in KTwinkle which is being produced by content queen Ekta Kapoor. In this movie, Disha will be seen playing a superstitious small town Punjabi girl. The makers had released Disha’s first look and that has garnered appreciation from all corners. KTwinkle is expected to be a complete laughter riot and one would get to see Disha in a never before role in this movie.
Talking about her movie line-up, Disha says, “I am extremely grateful for all the work that has been coming my way. I am thrilled to be working on such diverse roles in my upcoming movies. All three of them are very unique and challenging in their own ways and I am working hard to do justice to all three characters.”
Given that everything that Disha touches turns into Gold, we are expecting nothing less from all three movies.

Sara Ali Khan says a lot of people are just waiting for a star kid to make a mistake
Sara Ali Khan has always been considerate about her career choices and the young diva has always gobbled attention from fans with her quirky and elegant ensembles. Recently, Sara Ali Khan made an appearance at a conversation with television journalist Barkha Dutt as a part of the ‘We The Women’ summit in Bengaluru. She opened up about what she would do if not for acting, Sara shared, “If not acting then I would be a lawyer or a politician”. She also mentioned that she believes it’s not too late for that and added that she can join politics later.
At the event, she spoke about her privilege being Sharmila Tagore’s granddaughter and Saif Ali Khan – Amrita Singh’s daughter and said that she does not believe in taking the pressure of her legacy. She said, “With any form of privilege, there is a setback to it. You are as burdened as you want to be, and you take as much pressure as you want to. I am acutely aware that I come from a film background and, therefore, the scrutiny and attention I receive is more than it would have been otherwise. But I don’t look at it as a burden, because if I do, then I won’t be able to perform.”
“Star children do get it easy, but it also comes with scrutiny and there are a lot of people who are waiting for a star kid to make a mistake or fall. I am aware of that. But I don’t take all that seriously,” she further said.
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali’s next alongside Kartik Aaryan and with Varun Dhawan in Coolie No.1 both of which are slated to release next year.
Disha Patani looks ethereal in a white ethnic outfit as she heads for Mahurat Puja for Radhe
All set to set the screen ablaze with her charm, Disha Patani will next be seen in Salman Khan starrer, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. She has already worked with Salman Khan in Bharat but her role was small yet a pivotal one. Now, she will be seen as the leading lady of the film and is elated to be a part of the project.
While Salman Khan has already started shooting for the film, Disha Patani posted pictures from the Mahurat Puja held today. Leaving her locks in soft curls, Disha was seen wearing an all-white embellished and sequined ethnic outfit with multicolored and golden detailing and her look was styled by Aastha Sharma.
Disha currently has three films lined up including Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Malang, and Ekta Kapoor’s KTina.
