Kiara Advani is gearing up for the release of the film Good Newwz. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Diljit Dosanjh. The actress, who made her debut in the year 2014 with the film Fugly, currently has several films in her kitty.
In an interview with a magazine, Kiara Advani while talking about Karan Johar said that it is motivating to have someone who believes in you and your talent. The actress is aware that he is blamed for nepotism in the industry, but to those of like Kiara on the periphery, he has given such wonderful opportunities.
Kiara Advani has also worked in South Indian films. The actress said that she has managed to create fan base there. She said that at the end of the day, you do everything for the audience. Kiara said that when she finds fans waiting for them after a shoot, just so that actors look them into the eye and shake their hands, she feels like she owes them so much. The actress hopes to do one South Indian film a year.
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani has a variety of films lined up. She will be seen in Laxxmi Bomb with Akshay Kumar, Bhool Bhulaiayaa 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Shershaah with Sidharth Malhotra and an untitled film with Varun Dhawan and Bhumi Pednekar. Kiara Advani’s upcoming film Good Newwz is all set to release on December 27.
Excel Entertainment announces their next movie, a biopic on Indian Mathematician Vashishtha Narayan Singh
Earlier today, Excel Entertainment announced their next film which is a biopic based on the life of the great Indian Mathematician Vashistha Narayan Singh directed by Neeraj Pathak at a press conference in Patna.
Neeraj Pathak attended the special press conference along with Vashistha Narayan Singh’s family members – Harishchandra Singh, Mukesh Singh, Shiv Mangal Ji, Rakesh Singh, Mithilesh Singh.
This great mathematician Vashistha Narayan Singh is known for his wonders which had challenged Einstien’s Theory of relativity. Vashishtha Narayan was really fond of reading books and spending his maximum time reading them.
He passed away at the age of 74 due to a prolonged illness.
Here’s the role Sunny Singh plays in Pati Patni Aur Woh
A while back we had reported that Sunny Singh would be seen in the Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh. In fact, we were the first not only to reveal this detail but also give you a sneak peek at Sunny’s look in the film. Well, now we have managed to get our hands on some more details of his character in the film.
As per our well-placed sources, Sunny Singh will be seen playing Bhumi Pednekar’s character’s close relative or friend. Commenting on the same our source says, “Sunny’s character in Pati Patni Aur Woh is someone who is very close to Bhumi’s character. It could either be a family relative or a close friend, who provides Bhumi support when needed. But it isn’t just that, Sunny’s character is also a partner in crime for Bhumi in the film, much like Anil Kapoor’s role in Biwi No. 1, where he played Salman Khan’s best friend.”
Prod the source for more details and he adds, “Given that Sunny’s role is like Anil’s in Biwi No. 1, there could well be a chance where his character helps Kartik Aaryan win Bhumi back. Also, there is a song sequence in the film is based on the relation between Sunny Singh and Bhumi Pednekar. This sequence will detail their bond.”Well, after hearing this we just can’t wait to watch the film.
As for the movie, Pati Patni Aur Woh, is directed by Mudassar Aziz and is slated to release on December 6.
Grammy nominated American artist Khalid to perform in India in 2020
International artist Khalid will be performing in India for the very first in April next year. The singer, Tuesday, took to Twitter to announce nine Asia dates as part of his world tour – ‘Khalid Free Spirit World Tour’.
The Grammy-nominated singer will perform in Mumbai on April 12, 2020, and in Bengaluru on April 14, 2020. “This is going to be my first time in India wowowow thank u guys!!!!,” he wrote on Twitter.
Besides India, the other tour dates include Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and Seoul.
Fatima Sana Shaikh to star in Karan Johar’s short film?
After no release in 2019, Fatima Sana Shaikh is gearing for a packed 2020. The actress has a couple of releases next year and many projects in the pipeline. She might be collaborating with Karan Johar soon.
Rumours are rife that Fatima Sana Shaikh will star in Karan Johar’s short film. Karan Johar started Dharmatic which will curate a lot of digital content. Shashank Khaitan, who previously directed Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, might direct it. While the filmmaker and the actress are yet to confirm the collaboration, this would surely begin her journey in Karan Johar’s camp.

Mardaani 2: “It is a film for both men and women. It will give perspective to men as to where is the limit,” says Rani Mukerji
Rani Mukerji is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Mardaani 2. In the film, Rani’s character superintendent of Police Shivani Shivaji Roy is set out to nab a serial rapist who tortures, rapes and brutally murders young women. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rani Mukerji spoke about the message the film imparts and how it aims to inform and educate people.
Talking about the topic of the film and why it is important, Rani said, “I think it is very nice that through a film medium, an entertainment medium, you are also saying a very important thing to the audience, for the men especially; the country that we are staying in today. The Nirbhaya case happened; I think women and men react in the same way. They are both angry, they are both disgusted, and they are both shocked that human form can take the face of a demon. And that’s what we are showing in Mardaani 2.”
She further said, “ It is a film for both men and women, where sometimes men cross lines with women, thinking this is the only thing I did how come she reacted like that. It will give perspective to men as to where be the limit, where they shouldn’t even do what they are doing because slow and steady makes them monsters. Because without them knowing they would have committed certain things in their heads thinking that it is not a big deal. So it is important to tell such men that it is not okay and for women how important these things are.”
Mardaani 2 focusses on the rise of violent crimes by juveniles in India and has definitely sparked a conversation on the threat it poses to young girls. Rani Mukerji had delivered a knock-out performance in the super hit and hugely acclaimed prequel, Mardaani, in which she took on the kingpin of a child trafficking racket. Khaali Peeli: Ananya Panday finds it difficult to shoot at night and Tiger Shroff is the reason behind it!
Ananya Panday is all set to get her Bambaiya lingo on for her upcoming film with Ishaan Khatter in Khaali Peeli. Rohit Shetty directed Golmaal Five to release around Diwali 2021
Just last week we had reported that Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn were all set to reunite for Golmaal Five. While the film is expected to go on floors next year, we hear that the makers of the film are planning to release the venture around Diwali 2021.
Commenting on the same a source close to the venture says, “Reliance and Rohit Shetty are pretty keen on capitalizing on the Diwali festivities. Given that Golmaal Five, like the previous ones in the franchise, will be a rib tickling family entertainer what better date to release the film than on a festive occasion that brings the entire family together.” Ask the source whether the makers of Golmaal Five have locked any particular date and he adds, “Right now no particular date has been locked, but suffice to say that Diwali 2021 will be when the film releases. A final date will be locked once filming is almost done.”

December 3rd, 1982, an Indian cricket legend was born- ‘Mithali Dorai Raj’ and as she celebrates her birthday today, there could not have been a better occasion to announce Viacom18 Studios’ next Shabaash Mithu. The Studio with an impressive record of stories with strong women characters from Kahaani, Queen, Mary Kom to Padmaavat has roped in Taapsee Pannu to headline the film and signed Rahul Dholakia as the Director.

Taking his popularity even further we now have it from very reliable sources that Kartik has been signed by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a forthcoming production. “Kartik came THIS close to playing the lead opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Sadly the dates didn’t work out. Kartik will now be a part of a Bhansali Production to be announced soon,” says the source.

It’s that time of the year where we get ‘Year In Review’ lists. Yahoo India has released its year-ender and after the top 10 blockbusters of the decade, they revealed the most searched celebrities of 2019. Salman Khan has topped the list amongst the male celebrities.
Apart from him, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have made it to the top 2 of the list. Tiger Zinda Hai veteran actor Girish Karnad, who passed away in 2019, took a spot in the top 10.
Sunny Leone was once again Most Searched Female Celebrity of 2019. This is a position she has held for many years now. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone have also bagged a place in the top 10.
Hrithik Roshan emerged as the male style icon of the year and newbie Sara Ali Khan, who is only two movies old in the industry, has been named female style icon of 2019.
Aamir Khan’s Dangal biggest blockbuster of decade, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan bags second place

Aamir Khan starrer Dangal which released in 2016 is the biggest blockbuster of the decade as per their report. The actor revolved around the real-life story of the wrestlers – Phogat family. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film has taken the top spot on the list.
Dangal is followed by Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan which was directed by Kabir Khan. The film starred child artiste Harshaali Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Aamir Khan’s PK takes the third sport followed by Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Dhoom 3, Sanju, War, Chennai Express and Dabangg.
Prithviraj: Akshay Kumar starrer to have 35 sets mounted across Maharashtra and Rajasthan
Two weeks ago, Akshay Kumar kickstarted Yash Raj Films’ first and biggest historical film Prithviraj. The film will mark the debut of Miss World Manushi Chhillar. The film is being made on a huge scale and the makers are leaving no stone unturned in its making.
As per the latest reports, the makers will be working majorly on the sets and mounting 35 sets across Maharashtra and Rajasthan for the film. The makers want the film to be a visual spectacle. In Maharashtra, the sets are being mounted in adjoining areas besides the FilmCity. In Rajasthan, they will be extensively shooting in Jaisalmer, Jaipur, and Udaipur. Thousands of workers will be involved in constructing these mammoth sets. The film will showcase the grandeur with incredible fight sequences and will show the opulence of the kings, and their kingdoms.
Yash Raj Films announced last month that Manushi Chhillar will play the role of princess Sanyogita in Prithviraj which is based on the life and heroism of the fearless and mighty King Prithviraj.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK is complete action entertainer
It’s been a year since Shah Rukh Khan released his last film, Zero. The actor decided to take a break and spend time with his family since his last releases didn’t work at the box office. But, 2020 looks hopefull since there are several projects SRK is working on and might announce it next year.
A few days ago, Bollywood Hungama reported that Shah Rukh Khan will be collaborating with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for a film. We had also revealed that an A list actress has been locked in and other cast members as well.
Now, it’s been revealed that it will be a stylish action entertainer with Raj and DK’s brand of humour which SRK has not explored before. It will be shot in exotic locations in India and abroad. They’ve hired an international stunt crew to design the action. As of now, the filmmakers are finalizing the script before they other part of the project gets finalized. The project will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan himself and is looking for 2021 release.
Besides this, Shah Rukh Khan has another project in the pipeline which will be a good drama and he might be kicking off that next year as well.
Rani Mukerji debuts as a real-life news anchor to highlight rising violent crimes committed by juveniles in India
Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 2 trailer has gripped the nation with his brilliant storyline. The edge-of-the-seat thriller will see Rani in a race against time to capture a brutal serial rapist who systematically targets women. Mardaani 2 focusses on the rise in violent crimes by juveniles in India and has definitely sparked a conversation on the threat this poses on young girls. To highlight this growing menace and the incredible threat the girls face today, Rani will debut as a news anchor on one of India’s top TV channels to present cases of juvenile crimes that have happened recently.

Panipat: Real jewellery used for the making of the magnum opus starring Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon
After Jodhaa Akbar, director Ashutosh Gowariker has once again used real gold and diamond jewellery for his magnum opus Panipat. The jewellery from the Mughal and Peshwa era has always been a favourite, hence the makers decided that they wanted the best jewellers to handcraft for them. Since director Ashutosh Gowarikar was making a film on the 18th century, he did not want the jewellery to look fake. He made sure that everything during that era should be genuine and look real. Hence he decided to use real jewellery for the movie.
The jewellery used is so atypically Maharashtrian that was used by the Peshwa women during that era. The collection was designed by P.N. Gadgil Jewellers. Each piece was unique and carefully handcrafted according to the era. P. N. Gadgil was happy to be a part of the project. Around 2800 pieces of jewellery were used for the entire movie of Panipat. A lot of research went into the making of the jewellery. They looked into the miniature paintings that were available at the museums and also went through research and descriptions from historians who have written about them. Gems like rubies, emeralds, pearls, and uncut diamonds were used to imbue colour and add dazzle to the historic epic.
There was so much security on the sets that a special team was hired to hand over and also collect each piece of jewellery to be kept back in the lockers after the shoot. The special team handed over the jewellery during the shoots in the morning. There was tight security on the sets and cameras were installed so that no piece of jewellery was misplaced during the shoots.
Ashutosh says “I have grown up seeing most of the jewellery in the house as well as all our Maharashtrian weddings and festivals. This was the first time I got the opportunity to showcase it on the screen. So be it the Nath Thushi, Mohan Mala, Laxmi Haar, Kolhapur Saaz, Ambada Pin, Kaan (ear cuff) – these were the ones I knew about. I discovered many more during the prep of the film like Choker Moti Haar, Rani Haar (long Pearl necklace), Bugadi, Chinch Peti, Chapla Haar, Tanmani, Bakuli Haar – each one better than the other. At first, I was worried as to how we were going to manufacture or acquire all of these. That was when I thought of the oldest and most authentic jewellery house – P. N. Gadgil Jewellers. I was most relieved when they consented to come on board. Despite having all the knowledge, they did additional research and manufactured the entire Panipat range right for all the characters and brought alive the beauty of the women and the men of that era through this jewellery”.
Great detailing has been added through the jewellery of both the Mughal and the Peshwa era that it brings alive the beauty of the women and the men of that era through this jewellery.

Anushka Sharma and husband Virat Kohli are shooting for yet another ad together. While the two have done several ads together, their ad for the brand Manyavaar is what got people speaking about their then-impending wedding.
Now, the actor-cricketer couple is shooting for a new ad directed by Abhishek Varman. A picture of the two shooting for the ad has leaked from the sets. While Virat Kohli is seen in a shirt and pant, Anushka Sharma is seen in a dress with her hair open.
The two were last seen in a Manyavaar ad which was in continuation of the first ad which led to people talking about their wedding. The second part of the ad released months after they got married and had them speaking about their experience as a married couple.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in the film Zero which released in 2018. The actress is yet to sign any project. However, there are reports that the actress has been roped in for Farah Khan’s next which is reported to be the remake of Satte Pe Satta.

Anurag Kashyap, along with Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar, recently attended this year’s International Emmys as both Sacred Games and Lust Stories bagged nominations. While the filmmakers returned sans any award, they have definitely done us proud by putting India on a global map! Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap has reportedly rolled with a fresh project already.
As per a recent report, the filmmaker whose last outing Manmarziyaan garnered decent reviews, has started working on a film titled Project 10. A love story starring several faces, the film is going to be shot across India and UK. A considerable portion of it, in fact, is already shot in the UK.
That’s not all. As per the report, Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia Furniturewalla will be playing one of the lead roles in the film. Alaia is set to make her Bollywood debut with Saif Ali Khan’s Jawaani Jaaneman.
Last year, reports of Kashyap producing a film titled Gulab Jamun, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, broke. However, the film did not take off at the end. At present, he awaits the release of Netflix original Ghost Stories while he is also working to adapt Suketu Mehta’s book Maximum City.
