War team recreated the Indian Airforce Plane Gajraj after failing to get permission to shoot in the real plane
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War is heavy on action and required a lot of in-air combat sequences. But the producers couldn’t get permission from the Indian air force to shoot in a real fighter plane Gajraj.
So, the producers had to recreate the entire Gajraj interiors and all they had no other details of the inside except just a blueprint of the original plane due to security reasons. So, they recreated the entire plane inside by remodeling it on the American air force plane Hercules which is the same prototype as Gajraj.
“The engine room of the icebreaker ship that was created for another action sequence which had dynamic parts. I once secretly watched that Siddharth got Hrithik and Tiger to flaunt the engine room set and they were all pretty amazed by the show,” says Rajat Poddar.
The film is designed by Rajat Poddar who has earlier worked as Production Designer for the films Barfi, Jagga Jasoos, Gunday, Gangster, Life in a Metro, Baaghi, etc.

Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani’s official Twitter account has been hacked. The actress took to her Instagram handle to inform her followers that her Twitter account has been hacked. In a series of Instagram stories, Kiara urged her fans and followers to not click on any suspicious links sent from her account.
She wrote, “My Twitter account has been hacked. We are working on it to get it back. Please ignore any unnecessary or strange tweets being posted. Please DO NOT click on any suspicious link that is being sent from my twitter account. My account is still hacked and this link has not been sent by me.”

Fatima Sana Shaikh is popularly known for her role in the film Dangal. However, a lesser-known fact is that the actress had also featured in the 1997 super hit film Chachi 420 as a child actress.
Reminiscing about the old days of Chachi 420, Fatima recently spoke to a leading newspaper. “The first time I ever faced the camera was for Chachi 420. I was five at the time of the shooting and didn’t understand what being on set meant. I was just happy to be on holiday with my family in Madras (Chennai), where the film was shot. When you are the only child on the set you inadvertently become the apple of everyone’s eye. I remember being pampered a lot by everyone on the set including Kamal Haasan sir and Tabu. Between shots, they would bring me treats and treat me like royalty.”
The actress even took the opportunity to explain how her first shot looked like and what she was expected to do. Fatima spoke at length about how a child is so into the moment that they just don’t feel any kind of insecurity in front of the camera. “Back then, I just wanted to enjoy whatever was happening and then go out to play” shared the actress.
Comparing the experience to her experience in Dangal she said “I was a nervous wreck during my first shot because it was with Aamir Khan. It was the scene where Geeta comes back from the hostel, rebelling with long hair that her father was always protested against and insisted they chop it short. Her father only makes a remark about it in the scene but he knows it is an act of defiance. We had rehearsed it well before but I was sure they will regret casting me for the film. Luckily, we canned it in two-three takes. While Aamir Khan didn’t say anything, Nitesh sir walked up to me and offered some words of encouragement.”
The actress sure has had a rollercoaster of experience while working in both these films which will forever be special for her. Sprinting her way to success, the Dangal actress has bagged two new films.

Shraddha Kapoor reveals why she let go of the Saina Nehwal biopic
Shraddha Kapoor is in a happy space with back to back releases. Her last two releases, Saaho and Chhichhore crossed Rs 100 crores at the box-office within a few days of release. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about backing out of the Saina Nehwal biopic.
Shraddha Kapoor trained for months for the Saina Nehwal biopic before she let go of the film. The actor revealed that she stepped back from the biopic because of Street Dancer 3D. She further said that when Remo D’Souza the director of Street Dancer offered her the film, she could not say no as she considers him her Guru. Talking about Parineeti Chopra replacing her in the movie, Shraddha said that she is going to be great in it and cannot wait to watch her in it.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are all set to recreate the magic of Bhool Bhulaiyaa in its sequel, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Even though the characters are different, this movie has been in the news for all the right reasons. This is the first time that Kartik and Kiara will be seen sharing the screen space and it was earlier reported that they will be doing so post-Dussehra.
Kartik took to his Instagram to share a picture with Kiara as they posed with the clapboard. The shooting has begun in Mumbai and the makers wanted to start it on an auspicious occasion. The first schedule will hardly last a week and then the full-fledged shooting will begin next year since both the lead actors have prior commitments to tend to. WAR: Here’s why the makers of the Hrithik Roshan – Tiger Shroff starrer thanked filmmaker Ramesh Taurani
The Hrithik Roshan – Tiger Shroff starrer War released a while back and has been doing rather well at the box office. With the audience embracing the action entertainer with open arms, the business of the film is setting new records. But away from the box office and the records some keen viewers may have noticed that filmmaker Ramesh Taurani was credited in War, and for those asking the question why, we at Bollywood Hungama have the answer.
Apparently, the title of the Yash Raj Films venture was registered and belonged to Ramesh Taurani and was to be used by him for a venture under his banner. But with the mega budget Hrithik – Tiger starrer promising to be an action packed faceoff between the two, the said title War was perfect. Keeping this in mind, the makers of the film approached Taurani for the title, and the latter willing parted ways with it. Confirming the same when quizzed about being credited in War, Ramesh Taurani says, “The title War was with me, I had registered it. But I decided to give it away when approached, and that is why I was credited.”
As for the film, War, directed by Siddharth Anand also stars Vaani Kapoor in addition to Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Released on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, War has managed set new box office benchmarks.
Priyanka Chopra reveals Nick Jonas lives the biggest life despite having type 1 diabetes
Priyanka Chopra, who has been promoting The Sky Is Pink, reached New York City a day ago to talk further about her upcoming film which she considers a global film. The actress visited the talk show The View on Tuesday where she spoke about her film, her successful career, and Nick Jonas.
It is known that Nick Jonas has had type 1 diabetes since he was very young. Speaking about Nick and how disciplined he is when it comes to his health, Priyanka said, “Initially, when we first got married, I couldn’t wrap my brain around the fact that he knew when his sugar dropped, even while he was sleeping,” she said. “He feels it.” She would wake up in the middle of the night to check whether he is okay.
“He lives the biggest life possible,” she said. “He’s not restricted himself from anything. He plays sports. He’s touring. He lives an incredible life, and it’s so inspiring to see. “That’s what he wanted to show people. That even if you have type 1 diabetes doesn’t mean that your life has to be different. You can live it to its fullest, and it’s so inspiring to me.”
Coming back to her film, The Sky Is Pink is set to release on October 11.
Lootcase’s direct-to-OTT release plans SCRAPPED; film to now release in cinemas
Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the news last week that Fox Star Studios have decided to not release the upcoming comic caper Lootcase in cinemas. Instead, they planned to bring it on an OTT platform directly. It was initially scheduled to hit cinemas on October 11 but the plan was cancelled due to lack of buzz for the film and the fear of it getting lost due to the previous week’s release (War, Joker and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy) and The Sky Is Pink, which was to clash with Lootcase.
However, the makers have now had second thoughts and have decided to go ahead with the theatrical release. Yesterday, the official Twitter handles of Fox Star Studios, director Rajesh Krishnan and lead actor Kunal Kemmu sent out tweets confirming that the theatrical release of Lootcase is indeed on. A source associated with the film says, “It was a management decision. The film will be shown in cinemas and only then it’ll be out on OTT and television. However, the film won’t release on October 11, as planned earlier. It’ll be out on a later date, probably after Diwali. The makers will soon announce the new release date.”
An industry source spills the beans, “The team of Fox Star Studios wants to give this film a chance. They feel Lootcase has potential and can work at the box office through word of mouth. It’s a clean comedy with a very funny climax. Hence, they changed their minds although talks were already going on with a major OTT platform.”
Besides Kunal Kemmu, Lootcase also stars Rasika Dugal, Gajraj Rao, Vijay Raaz and Ranvir Shorey. It is directed by Rajesh Krishnan, known for making the popular web series The Tripling. It is the story of a common man in Mumbai who overnight becomes a millionaire when he comes across a suitcase full of money.
Sanjay Dutt all set to work in the next Munnabhai film
With his home production Prassthanam biting the dust, Sanjay Dutt has made up his mind to return to what he does best. Play Munnabhai. The super-popular franchise has been awaiting a third instalment for 8 years now.
Rajkumar Hirani and his writer Abhijat Joshi had in fact planned a third film Munnabhai Chale Amrika in which Munnabhai (Dutt) was to travel to the US to meet President Obama. But then Obama was President no more. A hunt for another script started. Now Sanjay Dutt has let it be known to Hirani that he is keen to start Munnabhai 3 the soonest.
Says a source in the know, “All of Baba’s films since his return from prison have failed. While the bio-pic on his life Sanju has been a big success. This proves Baba is very popular among the masses. He needs to do something he is best at. And that’s Munnabhai.”
Arjun Kapoor roped in for Ek Villain sequel
Ekta Kapoor and director Mohit Suri are now planning a sequel to their very successful 2014 crime thriller Ek Villain where Sidhath Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor were tormented to breaking point by villain Riteish Deshmukh.
Yes, the affable Deshmukh actually played a coldblooded serial killer in Ek Villain. We would now have Arjun Kapoor playing the title role in a sequel. Arjun is ready to step into the dark zone with Ek Villain 2.
But it is doubtful that Sidharth Malhotra, as much in need of a hit as Arjun Kapoor, would continue with his protagonist’s role in Ek Villain 2, as the antagonist’s role has proven to be a scene-stealer in the first film. The same is the case with the Dhoom series where every major star wants to play the antagonist.
Says a source, “Ekta Kapoor wants to turn Ek Villain into her production house’s Dhoom franchise. The problem here is who will play the formal hero when the villain has the author-backed role?”
Mohit Suri who directed the first Ek Villain is back on the saddle. Suri and Arjun Kapoor have quite a rapport going between them ever since they collaborated on the screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend. Kapoor who is busy with Ashutosh Gowariker’s historical Panipat will get into this project next year.
Anupam Kher to conduct laughter fitness event in New York
Anupam Kher has become a familiar face in the US with his show New Amsterdam. While people so far know him as Dr. Vijay Kapoor, he will now be known for making people laugh. No, this is not for a new project. The prolific actor will conduct a laughter fitness event at Riverside Park in New York.
The exemplary actor and life coach will lead the laughing event, which is expected to have the largest gathering ever for such an event. More than 100 New York City residents are expected to come for the laughter event, which is said to have physical and psychological benefits.
Hosted by the Riverside Park Conservancy, ‘Laugh Out Loud with Anupam’ is open to all those who would like to participate in the historic group laughing event.

Dharmendra recovering from dengue, returns home after three days in hospital
Veteran actor Dharmendra, who was last seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, is recovering from dengue. The actor was diagnosed with the disease a week ago and was admitted in the hospital in Khar, Mumbai. After three days of treatment, the actor began to recover and was discharged.
Dharmendra returned home with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The actor was keen on leaving the hospital since he began to feel better. He is recovering fine and staying at home instead of heading to their Lonavala farmhouse where he spends a lot of time.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dharmendra produced his grandson Karan Deol’s debut project, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The film, helmed by Sunny Deol, released in September this year.
CONFIRMED: Disha Patani to play a small town Punjabi girl in Dream Girl duo Raaj Shaandilyaa and Ekta Kapoor’s next
Just a few days ago, it was reported that Ekta Kapoor had locked in on Disha Patani for her next project which will be a female-led romantic comedy. It was also learnt that the film will be directed by Ashima Chibber who earlier helmed by Mere Dad Ki Maruti. But, it is to be noted that the script has been written by Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa.
Disha Patani is set to play a small town Punjabi girl in the film. Not many know that before Dream Girl was pitched, Raaj Shaandilyaa had narrated several scripts to Ekta Kapoor. She had loved the script but greenlit post the success of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer. However, the filmmaker has only written the script and won’t be involved in the creative or casting process as he is busy with his next project.
Meanwhile, Disha Patani has wrapped up her next film Malang which is being helmed by Mohit Suri. It is scheduled for February 2020 release.
Ranveer Singh heads to Hyderabad to shoot the finale of Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar & Ajay Devgn
Ranveer Singh ensured that his cast and crew of ’83 had the best time at the wrap party of the film and then headed to the airport to fly to Hyderabad to start shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi in which he has a cameo.
“Ranveer made sure that his ’83 team had a blast at the wrap party. He made everyone’s night as he chilled and danced with his crew with whom he has formed an extremely intimate bond. Post this, he headed straight to the airport for Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which is being filmed in Hyderabad,” informs an eyewitness from the party.
“Ranveer will be in Hyderabad for about a week and wrap his commitments for Sooryavanshi, Rohit’s new cop film in the brilliant cop universe that he is currently creating with Akshay Kumar As Sooryavanshi, Ajay Devgn as Singham and Ranveer as Simmba.”
Akshay Kumar’s character Veer Sooryavanshi was introduced in the post-credits scene of Simmba. He was seen having a phone conversation with Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham. The three of them will shoot the finale sequence before they wrap up the film. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi is set to release on March 27, 2020.

The trailer of Bhangra Paa Le starring Sunny Kaushal and Rukshar Dillon was released recently and was appreciated by both industry insiders and audiences. Actors like Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal praised the trailer of the film directed by Sneha Taurani.
It is now learned that actor Sunny Kaushal is all set to essay double role characters that belong to two different eras. While his character Jaggi’s story is set in the current day and age, Kaptaan’s (Jaggi’s grandfather) is set in the 40s.
Talking about his experience, the Gold actor says, “The conflicts both the characters’ face is different. The biggest challenge was to play both characters on the same day. Yet, it was a fulfilling experience. I learned a lot.”
He did not want to create characters that were caricatures. “I merely approached my characters as two different individuals. Their ideologies differ a great deal. For example, Jaggi is a rebel. Kaptaan isn’t. But, they’re both passionate about the things they believe in. The first thing I did while preparing for the film was chalk out their differences, and similarities, with my director. Apart from ensuring that their body language and mannerisms look distinct, it was important to know how they feel”, Sunny adds.
Milap Zaveri is all praises for Marjaavaan actress Tara Sutaria
After foraying into Bollywood with Student Of The Year 2, Tara Sutaria is gearing up for the release of Marjaavaan. While the college caper saw her in a glam avatar, the actor explores the other end of the spectrum with the Milap Zaveri-directed Marjaavaan that sees her play a mute character, Zoya. It may be a demanding role, but the director knew he had found his Zoya during his very first meeting with Sutaria. “I met Tara at a party hosted by Monisha Advani. She had an air of innocence and vulnerability, which fit the character perfectly,” he explains.
While many may be bogged down with the responsibility of playing a verbally impaired character, Sutaria submitted herself completely to the part. “When I narrated the script to her, she realized that she had to learn the sign language. Tara trained with Sangeeta Gala (sign language consultant) for almost two months.” Lauding her for holding her own in front of actors like Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh, the director adds that her dedication to the craft will hold her in good stead.

Post War Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3 stunts to be amplified
Tiger Shroff’s panther-like moves in Siddharth Anand’s War has set a new paradigm for the young actor’s action scenes. While both Hrithik and Tiger are being duly applauded for their deadly action moves, it is Tiger who must compete with himself as his next film Baaghi 3 boasts of never- before action. Informed sources say, producer Sajid Nadiadwala intends to up the action ante even further after War.
“It is no doubt a problem. In Baaghi 3 the makers intended to take Tiger’s action to another level. But now that level has already been reached,” says the source. Sources say producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Ahmed Khan have decided to drop plans of sending Tiger to Israel to train the form of martial arts known as Krav Maga as this form of action is seen to be too close to what is shown in War. The search for something beyond what is shown in War is on.
Jubilant at the response his action scenes in War have received Tiger is also concerned about the growing expectations of the audience. “It is a problem, no doubt. I don’t only have to compete with Mission Impossible and The Avengers but also with myself. I am expected to raise the level of action with every film. It is a challenge but a welcome challenge,” says Tiger.
Sanjay Kapoor reveals why Shanaya Kapoor did not go to a film learning institute
Sanjay Kapoor who was last seen in Mission Mangal and The Zoya Factor, is all praises for his daughter, Shanaya Kapoor. He says that she is ready to be launched next year and has also worked as an assistant director in cousin Janhvi Kapoor starrer, Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl. Even though it’s not finalized yet under whose guidance will Shanaya make her debut, Sanjay says if the project goes on floors tomorrow, she is ready.
He further spoke about how Shanaya felt that going to a film institute is a waste of three years, whereas working as an assistant director will help her connect to people on set, from spot boys to producers. This also helps one to value people even after they become an actor.

Deepika Padukone to look like a splitting image of Romi Dev in ‘83
Deepika Padukone is all set to be seen as Romi Dev in Kabir Khan’s ‘83. This is the first time post marriage that the two will be seen sharing the screen space, making it even more exciting. The team has recently wrapped up the shoot for ‘83 after filming in London for 3 months and in Mumbai for about 22 days. To honour that, Deepika Padukone threw a wrap party and even sent out personalized invites.
A source from the creative team of ‘83 has revealed to a leading tabloid about how Deepika Padukone looks like the mirror image of Romi Dev even without the use of prosthetics. Deepika will be seen sporting a shorter hairdo in the film and her makeup artist Clover Wootton has worked his magic. The source further revealed that Kapil Dev and Romi Dev visited the sets once and even though Romi had met Deepika earlier, she couldn’t help but notice how similar they looked with Deepika all set for the shot.
The makers have kept her look under wraps beautifully and are planning to reveal it when the teaser comes out.
