Punjabi Cultural Society Chicago Names 2026 Board

The Punjabi Cultural Society of Chicago, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Punjabi culture, language, education, sports, and performing arts, has announced its executive board for 2026. The announcement reflects the organization’s continued focus on leadership, inclusion, and community engagement across the Chicagoland region.

Dr. Primal Kaur, M.D., MBA, has been named Chairwoman for 2026. A senior biotech executive with more than fifteen years of experience, she currently serves as Senior Vice President for global development across immunology, neuroscience, eye care, and specialty programs at AbbVie. PCS highlighted her dedication to mentoring emerging professionals and advancing female leadership.

Bikram Singh Sohi will assume the role of President, overseeing board operations and strategic initiatives. A long-time PCS member, he brings proven leadership experience and a strong cultural vision. Sohi currently works as Chief Operating Officer at Pampered Chef and holds engineering and manufacturing degrees from institutions in Punjab and California.

The broader executive team includes directors for finance, technology, youth outreach, women’s empowerment, and inter-community relations. PCS thanked its outgoing leadership for their contributions in 2025 and confirmed a calendar of events for 2026, including art competitions, cultural festivals, student programs, and public celebrations that honor Punjabi heritage year-round.
