Rajkummar Rao Embraces Fatherhood, Slows Down Career Pace
Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has opened up about how fatherhood has transformed both his personal life and professional outlook. The actor, who welcomed his daughter Parvati Paul Rao with wife Patralekhaa in November 2025, shared that this new phase has brought a deep emotional shift, making him more sensitive, grounded, and connected to what truly matters. He described life now as calmer and more meaningful.
Speaking on a podcast, Rajkummar revealed that becoming a father has also influenced his work choices. He plans to reduce his workload and take on only two films each year, allowing him to spend more time with his daughter while focusing on meaningful projects. He emphasised that his aim is not just career success, but also to make his daughter, wife, and mother proud through thoughtful decisions.
He also reflected on how fatherhood has changed his emotions in daily life. Recalling a moment when a co actor noticed how his face lights up while talking about his daughter, Rajkummar said it made him realise the depth of his bond.
After taking a break post her birth, he admitted returning to work has been emotionally challenging.
