Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra recently took a nostalgic trip as his popular romantic thriller Ek Villain completed 12 years since its release. The actor celebrated the milestone by revisiting one of the most defining films of his career and sharing his memories with fans on social media.
To mark the occasion, Sidharth posted a video montage featuring some of the most memorable scenes and songs from the film. The visuals were accompanied by the emotional track Teri Galiyan, which remains one of the most loved songs from the movie. Along with the post, he expressed his affection for the project, calling it a “special” part of his journey in the film industry.
Ek Villain originally released on June 27, 2014, and was directed by Mohit Suri under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. The film featured Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles, with Isha Koppikar appearing in a brief role. The story follows a reformed gangster whose peaceful life is shattered after a personal tragedy linked to a serial killer.
One of the film’s biggest highlights was Riteish Deshmukh’s performance as the antagonist, where he surprised audiences by stepping away from his usual comic roles to portray a dark and intense character. The movie’s soundtrack also became a major success, with songs like Galliyan, Banjaara, Awari, and Humdard continuing to enjoy popularity among fans.
