The evening began with an energetic dhol tasha performance, followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting attended by community leaders, elected officials, and organisers, highlighting wider recognition of Indian cultural events.
Prominent local officials and Indian consulate representatives were present, emphasising unity and cultural preservation. A key highlight was a theatrical presentation based on the Ramayana and stories of Lord Krishna, combining traditional storytelling with AI driven visuals.
The event also featured devotional processions, music, and activities like essay writing and fort building competitions, while also paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary.
