Sundar Pichai Shares AI Christmas Post, Elon Reacts
Google CEO Sundar Pichai delighted social media users on December 25 by posting an AI-generated Christmas image on X (formerly Twitter). Using Google’s Gemini AI, the photo depicted a figurine of Pichai with his dog Jeffree in a snow globe before a snowy Golden Gate Bridge, reflecting Google’s San Francisco roots. The post quickly went viral, garnering over 530K views and 7,500 likes, with Pichai captioning it, “Merry Christmas! Wishing you a joyful holiday with friends and family.”
The festive post drew attention from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who shared it on his timeline with a single-word response: “Interesting.” Recently, both tech leaders have engaged in social media interactions surrounding futuristic projects. In a Fox News interview, Pichai discussed Google’s quantum computing initiatives and a “moon shot” to create data centers in space powered by solar energy, with the first steps planned for 2027. Musk had also previously reacted to Pichai’s video highlighting these innovative projects, underscoring the growing online conversation about cutting-edge technology and space-focused developments.
