Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to be first guests on Rendezvous With Simi Garewal
Ever since Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in November 2018, the fans have been eagerly waiting for their first joint interview. And guess what? It might happen soon. The actors will reportedly be the first guests on the comeback chat show of veteran actress and host Simi Garewal. As per reports, the actress will be returning with her iconic celeb chat show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal.
15 years later, Simi Garewal wants to make a comeback in a grand way with big celebrities on the couch. She said recently she has never revealed names until she has filmed the episodes. But, she said that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer have promised their first interview together for her show.
Simi Garewal said that there won’t be any change in format and she would not include gossip and games. She said that people resort to such games because they cannot make a conversation. The actress said that Rendezvous was always getting to know the person.
Rendezvous With Simi Garewal saw actors, politicians and everyone else gracing the show. The celebrities included Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Rekha, Aishwarya Rai, Rekha, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and the late Jayalalithaa.

Bhumi Pednekar’s mom and sister travels to Lucknow to celebrate her birthday post Pati Patni Aur Woh shoot. Bhumi Pednekar is turning 30 and its looks like she is going to have an intensely hectic working birthday tomorrow. The acclaimed actress returned to the sets of Pati Patni Aur Woh for a month-long intense shoot that starts on her birthday.
“Bhumi always celebrates her birthday with her family and friends. It’s an annual ritual for her to throw a party and give her near and dear ones a great time! Bhumi is turning 30 and the celebrations were going to be incredibly special. However, this is not going to be possible anymore. There is an extremely important sequence that needs to be filmed and the shoots fell on her birthday! Bhumi had to return to Lucknow to join her co-stars Kartik, who plays her husband in the film, and Ananya. Bhumi will have a month-long, non-stop shooting schedule in the city,” reveals an informer.
The source adds, “However, Bhumi’s family is ensuring that she has a mini celebration just with them in Lucknow. Her mom and sister are traveling to the city and they have a family dinner planned post Bhumi wraps her shoot tomorrow. She has a hectic shooting schedule tomorrow and it will be great for Bhumi to let her hair down with family. It will be a quiet, intimate dinner and the family wants to spend the evening with each other because they won’t be able to see Bhumi for an entire month.”

Kalki Koechlin has been playing some amazing roles in the past and has always made it a point to choose roles that are unconventional and out of the box. Last seen in Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Made In Heaven, Kalki proved yet again that she is one of the most versatile actors in today’s age. She will next be seen in Sacred Games 2 and her fans are quite excited to see what role she will be playing in the much-talked-about and much awaited series.
For her next project, Kalki Koechlin will be seen in a web series titled Bhram and will be playing the role of a novelist who suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The condition for her character occurs after an incident and Kalki has recently joined the team for the shoot. Most of it will be shot in Shimla while the rest will be shot in Mumbai. The actress has always impressed the audiences and the critics with her acting abilities and with so many underlying shades in her character, the makers are thrilled to have Kalki on board.

WOAH! Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff shoot action sequence in the Arctic with Dark Knight action director, Paul Jennings
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are all set to star in Yash Raj Films’ action-packed film, War. The movie’s title has recently been revealed and the hype for this film has been high ever since its announcement considering that it will star two of the biggest action superstars of the industry. leaving no stone unturned to make it the biggest action film of the year, director Siddharth Anand roped in the famous Hollywood action director, Paul Jennings, who is the man behind the action sequences in films like Dark Knight, Jack Reacher, San Andreas, and even Game of Thrones.
According to sources, both Hrithik and Tiger have been practising for this chase since the last year and the shoot lasted for a couple of days amidst the ice clad Arctic Circle. However, Paul was only the director for this segment of the film. The team went ahead and approved the recce 6 months before the shoot and it took place last year. It is clear that the makers want to give their audiences the time of their lives, filled with adrenaline through these action-packed sequences. War happens to be the first film in the world to have shot an action sequence in the Arctic and even though it was risky, the visual aspect of it made the team go for it.
Slated to release on October 2, War is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Anupriya Goenka and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Rishi Kapoor to start shooting by September end, reveals he agrees with Kangana Ranaut that some press members write irresponsibly
Rishi Kapoor has been in New York since last nine months and has one and a half more month to go. He has been undergoing a treatment for cancer which is both long and painful. Through this all, he has been looking chirpy and composed in all his photos with wife Neetu Kapoor who has been a pillar of strength to him.
He spoke recently about all this and of course his plans after coming back to Mumbai. He revealed that he has been feeling homesick and he can’t wait to get back and resume work. In fact in will do dubbing work for a project while in New York. His film, Jhootha Kahin Ka, is set to release this Friday!
He said that he will listen to narration of a movie soon. He also revealed that he would get back to Mumbai by September, hopefully, and then start working by the end of the month.
On asked if he is upset with makers of Jhootha Kahin Ka for releasing the movie this Friday, he said that it was a false news and that he agrees with Kangana Ranaut about her statement that there is a section of media which reports false news and credibility of other journalists is questioned.
Having that said that, he made it clear that he does not agree with everything that Kangana says.

Dhadak pair Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter to star in Karan Johar’s romantic thriller?
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has an array of films lined up which big stars like Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan leading the way. With that being said, it seems like the filmmaker is planning to bring back the Dhadakpair Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter with a romantic thriller.
If the reports are to be believed, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter will be once again starring in Dharma Productions’ romantic thriller and this time will be a different kind of love story. The film will be reportedly helmed by Wazir director Bejoy Nambiar. Ishaan, who has already locked Ali Abbas Zafar’s Kaali Peeli with Ananya Panday, will be shooting the Dharma film next year.
Interestingly, this is the only film Ishaan Khatter has signed after Ali Abbas Zafar project. While Janhvi Kapoor went onto sign three films post Dhadak, the actor has been waiting to right film to come his way.
Janhvi Kapoor, on the work front, is currently shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s RoohiAfzawith Rajkummar Rao. The actress will also be starring in Gunjan Saxena biopic which is tentatively titled Kargil Girl. She will also be seen in Takht.

Hrithik Roshan, who has been making right kind of noise with his movie Super 30, has partnered with Little Singham which is a venture by Discovery Kids, Reliance Animation and Rohit Shetty Picturez. Hrithik will be seen as a role model to all the kids to study and grow in their lives.
Hrithik will be a mentor to them in the episode of Little Singham. Hrithik wants to impart the values of bravery and nationalism through this episode and not to mention importance of education and how it is not to be taken lightly.
Meanwhile, Super 30 is doing a great business and masses are liking the fact that it is high on content. Strong word of mouth publicity propelled its business over the weekend.

Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 is 60% complete, shooting to wrap up by September
Arbaaz Khan recently revealed that Dabangg 3 shoot will be finished hopefully by September. As of now, the shoot is 60 per cent complete. The makers are all set to release the film on December 20, as announced by them earlier.
Salman will be seen as a youngster before joining the police force and then the makers will cut to his present life. Added attraction of the movie is that South actor Sudeep will be seen as the villain and there are many top notch action scenes between him and Salman which has got the masses excited already.
The movie features Sonakshi Sinha playing Rajjo, Chulbul Pandey’s wife and it also has a track where the makers are introducing Saiee Manjrekar, Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter, as Salman’s romantic flame of younger days.

Amitabh Bachchan takes a dig at ICC boundary after New Zealand lost to England in World Cup 2019 finals
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the latest celebrity to criticize the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the boundary rule due to which New Zealand lost to England in super over during the World Cup 2019 finals. At Lord’s on Sunday, the match was tied and went for a super over during which England took home the trophy. With super over also ending in a tie, the winner was decided by who scored the most boundaries.
This was heavily criticized by netizens including Amitabh Bachchan who took a sly dig at ICC. He took to Twitter and wrote in Hindi, “You have Rs 2,000, I have Rs 2,000. You have one note of 2,000; I have four notes of 500. Who is richer? ICC: The one who has four notes of 500 is richer.”
It wasn’t just Amitabh Bachchan. Even many cricketers were upset over the ICC rule including former cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Brett Lee, Yuvraj Singh.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next starring in Brahmastra,Chiranjeevi film, Gulabo Sitabo and Chehre.

Subhash Ghai, Karan Johar and Siddharth Roy Kapur to be a part of 50th edition of International Film Festival of India
Filmmakers Subhash Ghai, Karan Johar and producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor will be part of the steering committee of the 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said, “For the steering committee, Subhash Ghai, Karan Johar, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Feroz Abbas Khan, have already confirmed their names to be part of the steering committee which will design the IFFI’s golden jubilee edition because it has to be a professional show. As it is the golden jubilee year of the prestigious film event, the festival will be held in Goa from November 20 to November 28.
Commenting on this, Subhash Ghai said “It’s the golden jubilee of IFFI and this special film festival deserves to be celebrated with more substance joy and pride. I would be happy to contribute along with my colleagues in the steering committee of IFFI 2019.”
The film festival will celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary.”We will also have a business exhibition at the event because it is a good time to showcase latest film technologies and an exhibition of Gandhi ‘Gandhi150’,” the Minister added. Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) President John Bailey will also be a part of the festival. Ahead of the IFFI 2019,
private theatres in Goa are being hired to screen popular films as part of the festival. “In the past, people did not get tickets to watch popular films, so we are enrolling private theatres to screen those films,” Javadekar added.
The IFFI is being organised in Goa jointly by the Directorate of Film Festivals and the state-run Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG).

SAAHO: Will the release date of the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor starrer be pushed to August 30?
There have been many reports about the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho and its release date. Earlier there were reports that the film will not be able to maintain its release date of August 15. While the makers rubbished the same, they decided to put an end to it and even released the teaser of the film. The latter received a great response but the rumours about the delay in the release of Saaho have surfaced yet again!
The Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor film was expected to have a perfect weekend with August 15 as the release date but it seems that Saaho is facing some post production issues. Going by the high octane teaser, it is needless to say that the film will have extensive effects when it comes to stunts. It seems that the makers will need some more time to complete this work on the film and hence, they may have to push the release two weeks further. If reports and sources are to be believed, the film will release on August 30.
While the official announcement about the same is yet to be made, it is also being said that the trailer release date of the film too is yet to be finalized.
On the other hand, if Saaho was to release on August 15, there were two other Bollywood releases scheduled on the same day. One is Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal and the other is John Abraham starrer Batla House!
Coming to Saaho, the film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Sujeeth directorial will also star Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi amongst others.

Tulsi Kumar has had a blockbuster month after garnering 100 million+ views on her songs ‘Main Tera Ban Jaunga’ from Kabir Singh and ‘Sheher Ki Ladki’ from Khandani Shafakhana. She opened up to Bollywood Hungama about this incredible success she has garnered and also gave an insight into her future plans.
Tulsi said that she feels blessed that people have been liking her vocals and highlighted the fact that most compliments that she has been getting are that she is sounding different in every song. Speaking about ‘Main Tera Ban Jaunga’ from Kabir Singh, she said, “Kabir Singh’s whole album is fresh and ‘Main Tera Ban Jaunga’ has been consistently topping the charts since its release. It has become close to 75 million views now.”
About ‘Sheher Ki Ladki’ she said, “The song has come together really well in its entirety with Badshah and Tanishk Bagchi along with me. I have been getting so many praises for the same as it has been playing constantly in pubs and has a very nice, peppy feel to it.”
She also added that the greatest compliment she has received is that she is sounding different in both the songs ‘Main Tera Ban Jaunga’ and ‘Sheher Ki Ladki’.
When asked if she prepared in any specific way for the same, Tulsi Kumar said, “Not really. I made sure to keep in the mind the vibe of the song.” She said that she felt the song and made sure that expressions really came through with her vocals.
Not just this, her latest dance number O Saki Saki has everyone swaying to its beats.
Looking forward, she will be singing for Shraddha Kapoor once more after Aashiqui 2in Saaho and is pumped up about the same. She said that the song belongs to the future pop genre and she has done vocals for it in Hindi-Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Sohum Shah all set to romance Anushka Ranjan in Gulabi Lens
After impressing one and all with his incredible performance in the critically acclaimed Tumbbad, which was also produced by him, actor Sohum Shah is gearing up for an interesting short film titled – Gulabi Lens. Betaal:
A remote village becomes the theatre of a breathless battle when a two-century-old Betaal, a British Indian Army officer, and his battalion of zombie redcoats are unleashed. With Indian police pitted against the undead army, hapless villagers are trapped in a horrific, edge-of-your-seat conflict. Betaal is Red Chillies Entertainment’s second Netflix series, in collaboration with Ghoul’s Patrick Graham as the writer/director and showrunner, along with Nikhil Mahajan as the director and Suhani Kanwar as a writer. It will be executive produced by Blumhouse, known to design some of the best horror content and Ivanhoe

Messy:

Messy is her quest to find her own voice and get her life together in the midst of all the mayhem. American actor and director, Ravi Patel stars in the series which he has created and co-written with Neel Shah. The series is co-produced by The District’s David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer and Mutant Films’ Seher Aly Latif & Shivani Saran.

This scripted series based on real-life moments from Masaba Gupta’s life follows her unique background, the diverse worlds she straddles across fashion and family, and her foray back into the dating world. Masaba’s life is a glorious mess, and she’s not afraid to show that to the world. An inspirational, joyous celebration of her life, this fun series will be packed with tongue-in-cheek humor, enacted by the mother-daughter duo, Masaba and Neena Gupta themselves. The genre-bending series is created and produced by Ashvini Yardi’s Viniyard Films and will be directed by Sonam Nair.
