As she still basks in the success of her last outing Kabir Singh, Kiara Advani is presently shooting for Abir Sengupta’s Indoo Ki Jawani. About two weeks ago, the Lucknow schedule of the film was wrapped and she dived straight into another. Meanwhile, she had a gorgeous visitor on the sets!
It was none other than Genevieve Advani, Kiara’s mommy dearest, who decided to pay a surprise visit to the daughter on the sets. Kiara shared a grey-scale selfie of the two on her Instagram story, and wrote, “The best visitor on set today! Hi mom. Welcome to the world of #IndooKiJawani.”
In Indoo Ki Jawani, Kiara will be paired opposite Aditya Seal who rose to fame after appearing as the antagonist in Student of the Year 2. The film revolves around a young woman’s misadventure with dating apps.
Apart from this, Kiara will be also seen playing one of the pivotal roles in Good Newwz, alongside Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. The film’s trailer was recently unveiled, and we can quite expect it to be a laugh riot.
The actor will be also seen in Raghava Lawrence’s Laxmmi Bomb opposite Akshay Kumar and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 alongside Kartik Aaryan.

Kartik Aaryan turns 29 today, and even as he rings in his special day, there are number of reasons to celebrate. Other than the fact that he is clearly one of the youngest stars around who has gained quite some popularity for himself, there are on-screen shenanigans that are contributing to his elation as well. Just a couple of days back his song ‘Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare’ was unveiled and expectedly, it has turned out to be a smash chartbuster all over again.
“Kartik has been delivering chartbuster dance hits for many years now. Especially in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi, he had so many hit songs to his credit. Even as his songs continue to be hot favourite amongst the youngsters, it’s his latest song which has found instant popularity for itself. Look who turns a year older today! Birthday boy Kartik Aaryan, last night, made his way back to Mumbai after wrapping the Punjab schedule of Dostana 2. He was accompanied by co-star Janhvi Kapoor at the airport, and we also saw him flashing that signature broad smile.
And why not? Birthdays with family members are always special. He was also in for a special surprise by the parents. Later, Kartik took to Instagram and shared a few photos of the cosy, homely celebration that his mom and dad had arranged for him. We can see a table full of candles and balloons, along with a pretty chocolate cake and also some of his childhood photos. “Jab Mummy Papa ne bday pe surprise kiya,” he wrote.
As per reports, the actor is not planning to take a day off on his birthday since he has been promoting his upcoming release Pati, Patni Aur Woh. Co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday, the film is helmed by Mudassar Aziz and will be releasing on December 6, 2019. Dostana 2, on the other hand, is scheduled to release sometime in 2020.
Dostana 2: Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor wrap up Punjab schedule, play charades in flight
Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor, who will be sharing screen space for the first time in Dostana 2, have completed the first schedule of their film. The team wrapped up the shooting in Punjab after several long night shoots.
Kartik Aaryan took to Instagram to share a few photos from the shoot. “Nyt shoot ends and so does #Dostana2 ka Punjab Schedule First Schedule Wraps @karanjohar @collindcunha @janhvikapoor @itslakshya #Patiala (sic),” he captioned the post. Janhvi too shared a group photo on her Instagram story.

Dostana 2 is directed by Collin D’Cunha and is penned by Navjot Gulati, Sumit Aroraa, Rishabh Sharma. The film is scheduled for 2020 release. It is a sequel Dostana, which starred Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan and released in 2009.

When asked what was the most rebellious thing she has done till date, Kriti replied, “Beat up a boy”. Elaborating further the actress who was last seen in Housefull 4 added, “The most rebellious thing I did was beat up a boy. He actually dared me to beat him up, so I did. And then la la la, la la la happened and he fell in love with me!” Well, with Kriti recently revealing that she and co-star Pulkit Samrat are in fact in a relationship, we guess we will have to ask the latter how he fell for Kriti.
As for Pagalpanti, directed by Anees Bazmee the film features Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Urvashi Rautela in addition to Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat. The film is slated to hit screens on Friday, November 22.
Ajay Devgn thanks MNS for supporting the Marathi version of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior
A few months ago, the makers of Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal were in for resistance from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena after they decided to release a dubbed Marathi version of the film. A statement issued from their end said that such dubbed versions could eat up the theatrical business of Marathi movies. While MNS has decided to stick to its stand of opposing Marathi dubbed versions of Hindi films, the same won’t apply to Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
The film revolves around Tanhaji Malusare, a brave military leader of the Maratha Empire who fought alongside Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The party believes that the film should be dubbed in not just Marathi but as many languages as possible and released worldwide. They also emphasise that everyone should witness and bravery of Shivaji the king and his army. Soon after the announcement, Ajay took to Twitter to thank MNS for ‘allowing’ Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior to be released in Marathi. “Thank you Ameya & MNS for allowing us to showcase our film Tanhaji in Marathi & Hindi simultaneously. It’s our privilege to be able to share the story of this brave Maratha warrior in his mother tongue as well as the National Language,” he wrote.
However, his mention of the ‘National Language’ is attracting trolls, since India has no national language but instead has a long list of declared official languages. “Hindi is not our national language and Marathi is Maharashtra state language. All languages are equal,” wrote one user. “Tanhaji in Marathi is a welcome move. But Hindi is not national language!!!,” pointed out another.
The film, directed by Om Raut and also starring Saif Ali Khan, Luke Kenny, Sharad Kelkar and Kajol, is slated to release on 10th January 2020.

After witnessing over 20 inspiring speakers, Star Plus’ show TED Talks India Nayi Baat is heading towards its final weekend. This week we will get to see another motivating speaker Arun Sukumar, who is a cybersecurity expert.
The theme of the episode is Kamaal Ka Kal and speaker Arun Sukumar will take center stage and throw light on the coming of age of machines in India. He says that the average Indian does not see or engage the ‘machine’ during the course of their personal or professional life. Nearly half the country’s population is not connected to the internet.
With the introduction of ‘intelligent’ machines, few lives or livelihoods in India will remain untouched by advanced technologies. Arun Sukumar, “The machines of the future will be highly sophisticated devices, perpetually online and capable of dominating our life in its fullest sense. Indians with their sheer diversity will steer that relationship: machines will be taught by us in our great diversity.”

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi seek blessing for daughter Mehr on her first birthday at Golden Temple
Angad Bedi returns with the second season of his Amazon show Inside Edge next month. Ahead of its release, the actor travelled to seek blessings at Harminder Sahib Golden Temple in Amritsar. It’s a time Angad has been looking forward to for a while and on the eve of his daughter Mehr’s first birthday and the release of his show, Angad paid a visit to the holy shrine. The actor posted some lovely pictures on his social media of himself, wife Neha Dhupia and daughter Mehr at the temple.
A source says, “It’s been a hectic time for Angad who has been shooting and promoting for his movies and show’s back to back. He finished all his commitments in advance so he could take a two day break to be in Amritsar with Mehr on her birthday. The family then visited their ancestral haveli as well which belonged to Angad’s grandparents. Angad is a deeply spiritual man and he wanted to seek blessings at the Golden Temple ahead of Inside Edge’s release. He is emotionally attached to the character of Arvind Vashisth and has worked for months in prepping and shooting for it.“

Shahid Kapoor has dived deep into the preparation of his next film Jersey, and it includes thorough training in Cricket. His social media updates suggest that the actor is quite enjoying learning and practicing the game. Jersey is the Hindi remake of a hit Telugu film, revolving around a talented but failed cricketer, struggling to make a comeback.
On his Instagram, Shahid shared a video of himself net-practicing. Dressed full-fledged in a cricketer’s attire, he is seen scoring a swift boundary as he hits the ball.
