The film was officially launched in Kolkata on Friday under Anupam Kher Studio in collaboration with Friends Communication. Directed by first-time filmmaker Shamik Banerjee, the project features Rahul Bose, Paoli Dam, and Tota Roy Choudhury in key roles, along with music composed by Jeet Gannguli.

At the launch event, Kher expressed that returning to Bengali cinema feels deeply special and meaningful. He also shared his interest in establishing an acting school in Kolkata, reflecting his long-standing association with the city’s cultural and artistic heritage.
