Once again, Ranveer Singh was seen making an interesting choice. The film, directed by Kabir Khan, is releasing on April 10, 2020.
LAXMMI BOMB: Akshay Kumar unveils his saree-clad look on the occasion of Navratri
Akshay Kumar is all set for another interesting role and this time is a remake of South film, Kanchana. Titled Laxmmi Bomb, the film revolves around a cowardly man named Raghava who gets possessed by the ghost of a transgender woman. This woman wants to take revenge against the ones who destroyed her life.
On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Akshay Kumar shared the full look of him essaying the role of Laxmmi. The actor is seen in a saree while standing next to the goddess. “Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion,I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about… but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone…isn’t it?,” he captioned the photo.
Fox Star Studios presents A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House. Kanchana remake, Laxmmi Bomb is being helmed by Raghava Lawrence. Kiara Advani will star as the leading lady in the film. The film, which was earlier supposed to release on June 5, will now be taking over the biggest holiday of the year, Eid 2020.

Host and comedian Maniesh Paul has started his own variety show called Movie, Masti with Maniesh Paul which features celebrities. The weekend show brings several celebrities who are quizzed about their Bollywood knowledge among other funny segments.
In the upcoming episode, Ajay Devgn and Kajol will grace the show and are all set to have a blast in the show. One can see from the sneak peek that Ajay is donning a blue wig as Maniesh asks him to pose as Singham. In the clip, Kajol can’t stop laughing. She is also sporting a brunette wig.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which will also have Kajol’s special appearance. Besides this, he will be seen in Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Chanakya, Maidaan, Luv Ranjan’s production among other projects.

Ajay and his team will launch the trailer of Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, on November 22 with Kumar Mangat and Bhushan Kumar’s Pagalpanti, starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Ileana D Cruz and Pulkit Samrat among others and directed by Anees Bazmee. Even though Ajay is fulfilling his other film commitments over the next couple of months, in his free time, he is busy getting the Tanhaji trailer ready.
A trade source says, “Om Raut’s Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior promises to be a visual treat for those who love the grandeur and glory of cinema and Ajay and his team are sparing no effort to make it so. It is touted to be one of the best action and drama-packed emotional entertainers of 2020. The first trailer full of action will release on November 22 with Pagalpanti as it’s one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Pagalpanti is not just a comedy entertainer but will have John, Arshad and Anil is some memorable roles. The source adds that it will be a gruelling schedule for the star for the next few months; the actor-director-producer is prepared for it. “Ajay is currently shooting for Maidan and the fly to Hyderabad by October end, to join Rohit Shetty and the Sooryavanshi team to shoot the climax with Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. He will also shoot some scenes for Bhuj: The Pride of India this month, so it’s going to be a hectic couple of months for Ajay. He is currently juggling between shooting for Maidan and sitting in on the trailer (including VFX of the movie which is being done by NY VFXwaala, one of the finest studios in India) of Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior. In Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, Ajay Devgn will be seen portraying the role of Tanaji Malusare – one of the greatest and bravest military leaders of the Maratha Empire who served in the army of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and known for his capture of the Sinhagad Fort. Saif Ali Khan plays Rajput officer, Udaybhan Rathod, who served under Mughal army chief Jai Singh and Kajol will be seen as Lakshmi Bai. Ajay is pulling out all stops to make sure that Taanaji is one of the grandest action-emotion, period dramas the audiences have ever seen. Ace stunt coordinator/designer, Ramazan Bulut (and founder of Bullet Action Design) has designed some extra-ordinary, jaw-dropping action sequences in the movie, including the sword fight between Tanhaji and Udaybhan, during the Battle of Sinhagad.
Set in the 17th century, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who helped to recapture Kondhana fort near Pune from the Mughals. As a tribute to the bravery of Tanaji, the fort was renamed, Sinhagad (Lion’s Fort) by Shivaji Maharj himself. Such was Tanhaji’s tale of courage and sacrifice that ballads and stories have been written on him. Famous filmmaker V. Shantaram directed the Marathi historical, Sinhagad (1933), based on Hari Narayan Apte’s novel Gad Ala Pan Sinha Gela (I Won The Fort But Lost A Lion).
A source from Ajay Devgn’s team confirmed the news that the trailer of Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, is releasing on November 22. As for the film, Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020.
Saand Ki Aankh: Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Womaniya’ is an anthem celebrating womanhood
In the last ten years, Bollywood has seen some of the best films made on the emancipation of women. Arriving soon in theatres, as the crowning glory of them all is Saand Ki Aankh. While the trailer of the upcoming movie has arrested the attention of viewers, its music gradually emerges as a power-packed album. One such fun and spirited song to have just been released from it is ‘Womaniya’. Voiced by Vishal Dadlani, composed by Vishal Mishra and penned by Raj Shekhar, the upbeat number has also been cut into the trailer of the film.
Composer Vishal Mishra says, “When I first composed Womaniya, we knew that something special has happened. I could visualize the final result. Now when I listen to the recorded track, I get goosebumps. I can’t wait for people to feel the energy, exuberance, and power of the song. I am so glad that Vishal Dadlani has sung it so beautifully. It has been a beautiful process and I am eager to know the reaction of the listeners when it hits their playlist.”
Lyricist Raj Shekhar says, “The song is a celebration of womanhood in all its glory. It is the voice, which is mostly unheard in the male-dominated society. It is a tribute to the struggles of our grandmothers, mothers et aliae.”

Made In China: Amyra Dastur opens up about rapping in ‘Sanedo’ song
While some movies and songs leave a lasting impact on the minds of the audience, there are often moments and memories that remain special for the artistes. For Amyra Dastur, one such special memory was when she recently shot a song ‘Sanedo’ for her film Made In China in Ahmedabad. The Gujarati folk song, that features her and co-stars Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy and Boman Irani, was shot inside a haveli on the outskirts of Ahmedabad in only 24 hours!
National award-winning director Nikhil Musale, who is also helming this upcoming comedy, wanted to shoot at a real location. Since the haveli was only available for one day, the team had to work extra hard to finish the song within the time frame.
Amyra, who had a blast shooting the track, is happy that they managed to wrap it up in 24 hours. Also, she got to rap! “I have never lip-synced to rap, so this was new to me. But my director and co-stars were really helpful and we managed to get everything done on time,” she says.
The actress will be seen in a never-before-seen desi avatar and is looking forward to the audience’s response to her character. “I play a modern working woman and will be seen dressed in Gujarati saris. Made in China has really been such an experience for me,” says the lissome lass with a smile.
Made In China is set to release during Diwali 2019.

Bigg Boss 13 Day 3 Preview: Shefali Bagga asks Arti Singh about her love story with Siddharth Shukla, housemates perform painful task called Operation Theatre
Bigg Boss 13 has begun in full swing and there is already alliances made between the contestants while some already have rifts. Day 2 saw a lot of the drama in the house when it came to ration, unclean toilets among others. It seems like Day 3 will bring more drama. In the preview teaser, it seems like the new tasks will require the housemates to attack each other.
The Day 2 saw that it seems like sparks are flying between Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Kaur Gill. Paras was seen calling her cute and the two of them can’t get enough of each other. The episode also saw a lot of arguments over ration. While Dalljiet Kaur wanted everyone to very mindful about their consumption habits, Paras and Shehnaaz did not see it to be a big issue. The nomination process also started on Day 2 which already started to create a lot of rifts.
On Day 3, the task given the contestants is called Operation Theatre where they will be divided into two teams. One team will play the role of patients whereas the other team will be the team of hospital staff. Siddharth Shukla is the patient as he performs all the painful tasks including getting waxed, mud and cow dung thrown at him among others. In the clip released by the channel, one can see the two teams discussing how to go about the task.
In the preview clip, Shefali Bagga asks Arti Singh about her love story with Siddharth Shukla and asks her bluntly about her broken marriage. The clip ends with Arti in tears.
Distraught sister Shubha Khote remembers her brother Viju Khote
“Who will praise me now? Who will make me feel special?” actress Shubha Khote breaks down several times as she remembers her brother Viju Khote who passed away on 30th September at age 77.
Contrary to popular belief Shubha and Viju were not twins. “No, we looked so much alike everyone presumed we were twins. But, Viju was actually five years younger to me. I prayed and prayed for a brother and God blessed me with Viju. Even as a child I looked after him like a mother. And now he’s gone…..”
Her voice cracks as she remembers the good times that the siblings had. “He loved my cooking and he insisted that all our friends have a meal cooked by me. Viju lost his wife quite early. After that, I looked after him and his two children. He was my biggest support. I was a national-level swimming and cycling champ and he encouraged me to pursue these as much as possible.”
As actors both the siblings were born into the profession. Says Shubhaji, “Our father Nandu Khote was a professional theatre and film actor. He did films in the silent era as well. Viju and I were born into the profession. Whenever we worked together in a film like Waqt Hamara Hai or in the serial Zabaan Sambhal Ke we ceased to be siblings. We were thorough professionals on the sets.”
She feels her brother was underrated as an actor. “People recalled him by the Sholay dialogue when there was so much more to him. He was really good in films like Kasauti and Andaz Apna Apna.”
Viju Khote’s death has left his sister bereft. “We were not twins. But were as close”.
Shakuntala Devi: Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra bond over script as they gear up to play mother-daughter in the biopic
After the success of Mission Mangal, Vidya Balan is all set for another interesting role starring as Shakuntala Devi in the upcoming biopic. The film brings to life the legendary and inspiring story of Shakuntala Devi popularly known as ‘The Human Computer’. In September, it was reported that Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra was roped in to play Vidya Balan’s daughter in the film.
Sanya Malhotra will be essaying the pivotal role of Anupama Banerji, daughter of Shakuntala Devi and she is very excited to be sharing the screen space opposite Vidya Balan for the first time. The two of them, on Tuesday, were seen bonding over their lines as they were having a reading session. Sanya shared a couple of candid moments with a caption that read, “Super super excited about this one ♥.”
Earlier, Sanya said, “I am very excited to play the iconic Shakuntala Devi’s daughter – Anupama Banerji. Everyone knows the achievements of the math genius Shakuntala Devi. Malang: Anil Kapoor enjoys ‘dark chocolate on dark night’ after the wrapping up Mohit Suri’s film
Anil Kapoor, who was last seen in Total Dhamaal, has been working on Mohit Suri directorial Malang for quite some time. The film, which features Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu, is set for next year’s release. The actor celebrated the wrap up of the film on Tuesday night with dark chocolate cake on a dark night with the crew.
Anil Kapoor shared some photos from the sets of the film as the crew enjoyed the cake together. “The dark knight of #Malang sharing dark chocolate on a dark night with the best crew! Perfect way to end this intense journey! #thatsawrap,” Anil wrote alongside the pictures.
Malang is a revenge drama, helmed by Mohit Suri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Jay Shewakramani. It is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2020.

Gandhi Jayanti: Salman Khan shares message on fitness and cleanliness
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, actor Salman Khan took to Twitter to share a message on fitness and cleanliness.
Responding to a request by the Minister of State of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs of India Kiren Rijiju, Salman posted a message in which he is motivating all to stay fit and keep the nation clean.
Sharing the video, he wrote, #GandhiJayanti k is mauke pe, Bhai ne bola aapko message dene ko… aur Chulbul Pandey is ready!
