Chobe National Park in Botswana

Chobe National Park in Botswana

Fly into Livingstone, Zambia, the location of Victoria Falls, and you will be driven across the Botswana border to Kasane. Known for its abundant elephant population, this park offers water-based game viewing. Watch the elephant calves play in the water near the shore of the Chobe River and see the hippos bobbing up and down as your boat quietly passes . Have your camera ready as you experience an amazing African sunset. We recommend that you visit from May to October to avoid the higher summer temperatures. Visas are not required of U.S. citizens to enter Botswana.

The Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania

With the world’s largest population of migratory animals, choreographed in the “Circle of Life” you will have a front row seat in a magnificent daily drama. As you enter the Ngorongoro crater, you will see an extinct volcanic caldera that naturally shelters an amazing variety and number of wildlife. Visit any time of year, recognizing that April and May can be rainy. A visa is required of U.S. citizens. It can be obtained in advance or upon arrival in Tanzania.
