Keyana and Nirav
‘Sharing is caring’ … this proverb was true for the couple Keyana and Nirav. They shared their aspirations and dreams. The common thread of strong belief in family unity, values, and culture strengthened their bonding. Deeply immersed in love and respect for each other, they decided to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.
Both Keyana Vyas and Nirav Patel went to the University of Florida. They had often crossed paths, but had never become close. After being formally introduced by a common friend, however, they grew closer together—and love bloomed. Ultimately, he proposed to her at Morro Bay, California, at the beach, overlooking the sea. Before that, however, Nirav had met with Keyana’s grandparents and had sought their blessing. Both being truly family persons, the proposal also took place in front of Keyana’s cousins and sister.

And then the wedding bell started ringing. Both Keyana and Nirav wanted a wedding venue that would have picturesque, natural surroundings. Their prayers were answered in the form of the perfect venue for the couple: Lake Mary Events Center at Lake Marie, Florida. It is a beautiful ballroom, with a majestic lake as its backdrop. Like all their common interests, the couple jointly agreed on the venue.
Keyana’s family took an active part in the marriage preparation. They met the organizers and vendors; and the entire process was fun and festive for everyone. The pre-wedding ceremonies were close-family affairs and included some close friends. There was a Mehndi night with Pithi and Grah Shanti. The theme for the Pithi and Grah Shanti decorations was simple yet elegant. There were colourful garlands amidst a bright, beautiful background.
Mehndi night was a glittering ceremony with centerpieces of floating flowers, and magenta and gold curtains with white and green flower drapery. There were floral frames perfectly designed for taking photos.
Finally, the day of days came on May 23, 2021. The couple tied the knot in a beautiful morning ceremony. The theme and décor were a perfect synchronization of Indian tradition and western elegance. The central aisle had elephants at the entry point; and pink flower petals covered the aisle. The ballroom had white drapery with magenta, light pink, white, and green flowers surrounding the Mandap.
The big windows behind the Mandap presented a beautiful view of the lake and its surrounding greenery. All 175 guests witnessed the marriage, which was held amidst a beautiful, serene backdrop. Nirav arrived in a classic white jeep with doors and an unhinged roof. The music was an assimilation of Bollywood songs, Punjabi songs, and Garba music; and the family members particularly loved to dance to the Garba numbers.
One of the many exceptional parts of the Keyana-Nirav wedding was that the reception took place the night before the wedding. The starry night theme was beautifully created and brought to life at Altamonte Springs, Florida with silvers, purples, and blues, amidst a black backdrop; paired with sparkling LED lights, and centerpieces with candles and flowers. The stage had a beautiful cream-colored couch with blue and silver cushions, matching the color scheme.
There were old and new hip-hop and pop songs with Bollywood party songs. Keyana’s family put up an incredible dance presentation that left even the bride awestruck.
The wonderful wedding and the reception the previous night included a melodious surprise: live flute playing. This created the perfect ambience for the pledging of eternal love and the connection of these two lovers, just like the flute of Shri Krishna created the magic of love.

Gabrielle and Tejas
The beach and the rising sun were beautiful witnesses in this couple’s journey of togetherness. Tejas Sale took his lady love to South Point Miami Beach; and as the dawn broke and the sun rose over the horizon to mark the beginning of a new day, he got down on his knees to propose to Gabrielle Guy. The couple then went to Naples, watched the sunset together, and pledged to spend their lives with each other.
After dating for three years, Gabrielle and Tejas decided to tie the knot on December 14, 2020. It was a union of both the bride and groom’s cultures. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, was the chosen venue for both the wedding and the reception. First, they performed the Mehndi ceremony, which was affectionately supervised by Sneha Sale, Tejas’s mother, who had brought all the Mehndi materials from India. She created beautiful designs on the hands and feet of the bride–and also of the entire group.

It was a beach wedding for the romantic duo. The color theme consisted of sapphire, vibrant yellow, and bold orange. The entire venue was decorated with artificial palm trees and glowing lanterns. The Mandap had mixed sitting arrangements with rustic seating, lounge seating, and round seats in different colors. Two cultures were blended beautifully, while simultaneously keeping the natural ambience intact. The groom’s mother brought traditional outfits for the bride and bridesmaids along with all the accessories, including floral hair clips, bracelets, and necklaces for the bride.
Following traditional Hindu custom, Gabrielle came to the Mandap under a bold orange chaddar carried by the groomsmen and heralded with an arrival song. Tejas entered under a vibrant yellow chaddar carried by the bridesmaids and heralded with an entry dance. Chinmay Desai, the best man, explained to the guests the significance of the ceremonies.
The reception commenced with the local custom of the couple watching the sunset together. There was a dance, a dinner and all the celebratory festivities. The theme was rustic royal with chrome and sapphire colors, rustic chrome lanterns, tea light holders, and candles along with multiple seating arrangements including beach chairs and loveseats. The couple’s first dance together was to the song ‘London Thumakda’. Mother and son danced to ‘Mavrai Majhi Ladachi’.
United in togetherness, family members and friends made this memorable event enjoyable to the fullest extent.

Chahna and Nikhil
This couple first met in person not at some impersonal mega event but rather at an intimate Pani Puri party at Chahna’s home. Romance blossomed–and they started dating from that moment on.
Previously, they had met online on New Year’s 2018 through a WhatsApp group chat created as a professional networking group for Hindus in the South Florida area. Netting her catch quickly, it took only occasional meetings before Chahna boldly took the lovely step of personally inviting Nikhil to her birthday party (inviting her future spouse to join her in her own home). The rest was, perhaps, due to the magical, romantic enchantment of Pani Puri.

After dating for only a year (in a mostly long-distance relationship), his heart filled with love, Nikhil offered his heart to Chahna–romantically proposing in a most delightful way: by mischievously and slyly hiding her engagement ring inside a Pani Puri!
The couple had planned to get married in December 2020, but had to temporarily postpone due to the COVID19 pandemic. Finally, the wedding occurred on July 25, 2021. They chose the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale West Hotel for both the marriage and the reception ceremonies.
The pre-wedding ceremonies were performed at home with family and close friends. The Grah Shanti, Mehndi, Pithi, and Sangeet Night were celebrated using different color themes for each function. Mehndi was celebrated with joyful colors of green, orange, pink, and yellow–a marigold adorned with a yellow and orange theme with home-crafted ornamentation. Sangeet Night was a dreamy vision of white and silver.
Despite the restrictions, some close relatives were able to attend the ceremony. Chahna’s maternal grandparents and Nikhil’s aunt and uncle were able to attend and grace the occasion with their blessings. The wedding occurred in the morning. It was a traditional Hindu ceremony with classical color themes of gold, blush, and peach. Chahna was walked down the aisle by her brothers, cousins, and uncle. A gathering of 140 guests made the wedding an intimate affair. Afterwards, the newlyweds dashingly drove away in a flashy red Lamborghini.
The color theme of the reception was gold and burgundy red, with blush and peach flowers. The event was made even more joyful and festive by amazing dance performances by the families of both the bride and groom. There was a photo booth, and a fresh jalebi station. As an especially intimate touch, one tenderly giving honor to the bride by Nikhil placing her first and thoughtfully tending to her needs–a great start to a beautiful marriage, the very top first layer of the couple’s wedding cake was made vegan exclusively for the bride.
All enjoyed the warm and cordial festivities of the marriage ceremony of this yoga teacher, Chahna and physician, Nikhil. May their marital life be forever blessed with the radiant pink rosette of health and happiness.

Shanna and Kirill
The marriage celebration of this couple is unique. They married amidst the pandemic. However, they celebrated their first anniversary at the reception party with all their loved ones.
Shanna Khan, a registered nurse, and Kirill Kiselchuk, a mortgage closer, started dating back in 2015 when they were teenagers. After 4 years, Kirill proposed to Shanna in 2019 at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, their favorite place, standing on the bridge of the waterfall. It was an expected moment that came with an unexpected feeling of emotion and fulfilment. Shana said, ‘I do’.

The couple planned to get married in 2020. However, the deadly pandemic compelled them to refrain from ceremonies involving many people. Abiding by the Covid norms, they had a private ceremony on 23 May 2020 with only 10 people. No pre-wedding festivities could be organized. However, the two lovebirds made their relationship official following the rituals.
As the situation began to improve and restrictions were relaxed, Shana and Kirill decided to celebrate their wedding with their family and friends on the day of their first anniversary, 23 May 2021. This time, they could have the festivities and enjoy the company of their closest loved ones. There were 100 guests, and the venue was Gale Mansion, Minneapolis. The couple carefully chose the central location, keeping in mind the convenience of the guests of both sides of the family. Also, Minneapolis is an especially significant place for them, as both Shanna and Kirill grew up there.
The reception party was held in the evening. The decorations were elegantly simple, and the color theme was a pristine all white. An arch decorated with tulle, and lit candles on a floor strewn with flower petals, added to the romantic ambiance. Classical music was played, along with Bollywood hits and Latin songs. The couple’s first dance was to ‘How Would You Feel’ by Ed Sheeran. Shanna and her father danced to ‘My Wish’ by Rascal Flatts.
They celebrated a year later. They did not involve the help of any wedding planner, as Shanna’s family helped in the preparation of the anniversary festivities. It was an intimate party shared with close loved ones who (due to the Covid restrictions) had been absent during the wedding. Finally, friends and family were able to share their blessings and best wishes in person together while celebrating with the happy couple.

Tulsi and Ravi
The love story of Tulsi and Ravi is a beautiful story that includes the essence of friendship, compatibility, and respect for family values. Introduced through the girl’s cousin, they liked each other from the very beginning. Ravi proposed to Tulsi amidst rose petals on a surprise weekend trip to San Diego. After a year of dating, they formally pledged their love to each other in an intimate engagement ceremony held in the presence of each other’s family members in Destin.
Then it was time for the wedding. The date was fixed for September 11, 2021. Both Tulsi and Ravi are professionally busy, as she is a corporate lawyer and he is an anesthesiologist. So they hired a wedding planner to take care of the intricate details. The Hyatt Regency at Orlando was selected as the venue of choice. (Tulsi had initially been in favor of a destination wedding in Mexico, but COVID restrictions had resulted in their choosing Orlando.)

Among the pre-wedding celebrations, they had Mehndi, Pithi, Ganepat, Grah Satak, and Garba Night. Garba Night was a festive and colourful celebration full of fun. The entire room was decorated with string lights that all met in the middle of the room where there was a big tree and an idol. The bar was converted to a ‘Sharab Di Gaadi’ or liquor carriage (a multi-colored bus and food station decked out in Indian style).
Wedding ceremonies took place in the morning and indoors. The Mandap was set on a raised platform and had floral designs with flowers of various colors. Ravi came to the wedding venue in a horse carriage; and guests danced their way to him. The music was a perfect blend of Punjabi and Western songs.
The reception party was full of lights, action, and music. Everyone entered with their chosen music, and the newlywed couple entered with the new version of the song ‘Muqabla’. The father-daughter dance song was ‘Papa Mein Chhoti Se Badi Ho Gayi Kyon’, and the mother-son dance song was ‘Ta Ra Ra Ra Rum’. Tulsi was astonished by the extraordinary dance skills of Ravi. Everyone enjoyed the party and blessed the couple.
Despite having the option of merely passively sitting back and receiving blessings on her wedding day, Tulsi (a lovely soul, and someone who is so kind and outgoing and such a blessing to others!) actively insisted on personally taking care of the guests herself. (What a beautiful start to an amazing marriage!) According to her, giving and sharing love is so much more important than the material aspects of a wedding like the décor or the food. It will be the memories of the wonderful times shared with close friends and family that will last forever. Tulsi and Ravi’s humane values and love for family make this pair a truly amazing couple
