Udaipur Hosts One of 2025’s Grandest Weddings as Bollywood Stars and Global Personalities Gather for NRI Heiress Netra Mantena

Udaipur Hosts Grand 2025 Wedding for Heiress Netra Mantena

Udaipur’s royal quarters have come alive this week as the city hosts one of the most extravagant weddings of the year— the union of Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based industrialist Raju Ramalinga Mantena, and NRI Vamsi Gadiraju. The four-day celebration, spread across November 21 to 24, has drawn Bollywood celebrities, global influencers, political personalities, and international performers, turning the City of Lakes into a glittering wedding destination.

City Palace Turns Into a Star-Studded Stage

The pre-wedding festivities reached their peak on Friday night when the magnificent Manek Chowk at the City Palace became the venue for a high-voltage sangeet ceremony. The evening was anchored by filmmaker Karan Johar and singer-host Sophie Choudry, who set the tone for an entertainment-packed night.

Ranveer Singh, known for his energetic presence, delivered a spirited performance that quickly became the highlight of the event. Witnesses said he even encouraged Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend to join him on the dance floor—an unexpected moment that left guests in awe.

Bollywood Delivers Back-to-Back Performances

The sangeet featured a lineup of top-tier Bollywood stars:

  • Kriti Sanon captivated attendees with her performance of Param Sundari
  • Jacqueline Fernandez took the stage with her lively rendition of Lal Chhadi
  • Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor energised the crowd with their power-packed acts

A day later, the mehendi ceremony continued the celebratory mood. Actor Dia Mirza led the proceedings, while Nora Fatehi lit up the event with her signature dance performance.

Dubai-based influencer Farhana Bodi, one of the invitees, has been offering social media followers a steady stream of inside glimpses from the wedding, giving viewers a closer look at the opulence.

Luxury and Security Go Hand in Hand

Udaipur’s Leela Palace, which serves as one of the primary venues, has been transformed into a lavish red-themed setting complete with grand chandeliers, opulent floral structures, and elegantly designed seating spaces. The decor has become one of the most talked-about elements of the celebration.

Given the elite guest list—nearly 600 attendees, including Bollywood A-listers, business tycoons, and international celebrities—security across Udaipur has been significantly tightened. Donald Trump Jr. arrived on Friday night and was escorted under heavy security to The Leela Palace.

Several high-profile international names are also expected to attend, with reports hinting at the arrival of global star Jennifer Lopez for the celebrations.

Music, Culture, and Royal Venues

The festivities have been distributed across some of Udaipur’s most iconic locations, including Manek Chowk, Zenana Mahal, and Jagmandir.

On Thursday, world-renowned Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto performed at The Leela Palace, while traditional Rajasthani folk artists added a cultural charm to the lineup of events.

The Big Day at Jagmandir

The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place on the morning of November 23 at Jagmandir, followed by an evening reception. Guests will begin departing on chartered flights from Dabok Airport on November 24, marking the close of what has become one of the most high-profile and buzzworthy weddings of 2025.
