Eat Your Way to a Healthy Body
High in antioxidants and a myriad of vitamins, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries are a great addition to any meal. Wash fruit in the morning and keep it on hand during the day. You will be surprised by how many little hands start picking at the fruit! Add berries to oatmeal, smoothies, and baked goods. Try to buy organic when possible as most berries are high of the list of heavily pesticide-laden foods.
Does your family love palak paneer? Swap out some of the spinach for k
ale. Chances are, no one will notice, and everyone will benefit from this superfood.
This grain is high in protein and fiber and makes an excellent substitute for white rice. Use in place of couscous in
salads or even try it instead of your morning oatmeal.
Don’t shy away from using spices. Healthy does not mean bland! Garlic and spices such as tumeric, red chili powder, and cinnamon all have homeopathic properties that can aid your effort in healthy living.
