Ronisha and Vishal
Anything worth having is always worth the wait. For Ronisha and Vishal, their long-distance relationship was a test to see how far love can travel. The virtual world brought them together, but the real world tugged at their heartstrings. The first time Vishal flew out to meet Ronisha, it was a meaningful encounter. The next four-and-a-half-years went by with the two taking many trips back and forth between Orlando and Maryland and proving that when the love is real, distance only matters to the mind, not the heart.
For the proposal, Vishal picked Ronisha up from BWI airport, and on the pretext that it was his birthday, insisted on going to the MGM Casino at the National Harbor. Though Ronisha was too tired to go anywhere, she still accompanied him. Vishal took her to the rooftop of MGM Casino, where the entire area was decorated with blushing flowers and sweet-smelling candles. Without delaying any further, he surrendered his heart and asked for one chance to keep her happy for a lifetime. Their beautiful moments together were perfectly captured by the private photographer Vishal hired.

The couple hired a wedding planner for an elaborate Indian wedding affair. Pre-nuptial events included the Chanla Matli (engagement ceremony), Mehndi, and Garba. From deciding the wedding theme and venue, booking caterers, choosing decorations, sending invitations, and performing traditional rituals, Ronisha and Vishal enjoyed every moment spent together, smiling and appreciating everything.
Ready for their happily-ever-after, Ronisha and Vishal’s wedding took place at the Omni Championsgate, Orlando. The couple went with a romantic vintage glam theme with the bridal party in coral and mint green hues. Vishal arrived for his baraat in a Rolls Royce Dawn with his close friends, fraternity brothers and family members. A local football team that was staying at the Omni Championsgate enthusiastically joined the baraat dancing and enjoying the Bollywood songs that accompanied the baraat. The entire baraat kneeled down for a huddle and exploded into a massive celebration. With old and new Bollywood songs playing along, Ronisha and Vishal’s wedding included swoon-worthy, tear-inducing, and heartfelt moments that melted the hearts of the 450 guests attending.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the reception dancing to Bollywood and Hip Hop hits. The newlyweds enjoyed a first dance to “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie Titanic, followed by a mother-son duet to “Pehla Nasha” and a father-daughter duet to “Mere Papa.” Next, the groom surprised the bride with his hot moves along with his friends on the dance floor. As guests headed to their respective tables, two large wood panels read “Travel to your seats,” symbolizing how long-distance can never separate two hearts who care for each other. The guests took home a luggage tag with their names and table numbers as a memento along with a lot of happy and fun-filled memories.

Kunj and Hiren
Hiren and Kunj’s romance is anything but the cliché of young students meeting for the first time. The two were acquaintances in college, but didn’t truly connect until much later, and they haven’t looked back since. Both are driven and ambitious, and theirs is a story about unconditional support and respect for each other’s careers and lives with a strong foundation built on friendship and trust.
Kunj and Hiren went to college in Florida and were introduced by a mutual friend at a birthday party in Ft. Lauderdale. They began dating only a couple of months after that first meeting. Hiren’s sense of humor was in Kunj’s words “impossible to resist.” They dated for over two years before leaving Miami for Orlando and better career prospects.

It was in a park in Brickell, Miami, where they went to visit Kunj’s parents, that Hiren pulled off a picture-perfect proposal. Literally. Kunj found a photo album on one of the park’s benches, and as she looked through the pictures that captured their memories and love she found Hiren’s message on the last page – “Will you marry me?” Kunj closed the album to find Hiren on his knee as he repeated his question. Kunj’s answer was a heartfelt yes.
Kunj’s pre-wedding events included a Grah Shanti, Mehndi and Pithi at home. For the Mehndi and Pithi, artistic aunties of South Florida worked together to decorate the entire house with a beautiful ring of light pink, purple fuchsia and vibrant colors, and a see-through dance stage over the pool. The garba was held at the Marriott Harbor Beach and included live music and singing. Decor was done in vibrant gold draping with light pink, fusia, purple, peach, orange, yellow, white with greenery to create a very lively atmosphere in the garba Hall. Kunj and Hiren entered the garba hall in an old fashion rickshaw.
Hiren began his greatest adventure in life with Kunj while sitting atop a magnificent horse. The Baarat arrived with exuberant guests ready to shower their blessings on the duo. The beautiful bride Kunj lit up the rustic themed mandap with her glowing presence.
Kunj and Hiren’s traditional wedding was both understated and classy with four hundred guests not counting their beloved dog Toby, who was part of the groom’s entourage. Kunj, the co-founder of a nonprofit organization, “Hands of Esperanza,” which provides medical aid in Guatemala, set up a photobooth at the wedding to raise funds. The funds along with a large portion of the wedding gifts were donated to build a multispecialty medical and surgical clinic in Guatemala.
Kunj and Hiren danced to Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do for Love” made even more memorable as the groom played the saxophone. Kunj was joyfully surprised when Hiren danced with her friends. When it comes to Kunj, there seems to be nothing that Hiren won’t do for love.

Fenisha and Kishan
What’s the secret ingredient to a long-lasting loving marriage? For Kishan, it is falling in love with Fenisha and getting to know her with each passing day. Kishan knew in his heart that he wanted to get married the traditional Indian way. Growing up, he witnessed the special bond his parents shared and to this date, their love is still fresh and flourishing.
His search to find a perfect life partner who could fill his life with the same kind of happiness, love, and compassion led him to Fenisha. She too was curious to learn more about Kishan so she drove with her parents to Parrotsville, Tennessee, to meet him. The two met and instantly connected as they lost track of time talking and getting to know each other. Fenisha and Kishan decided to make it official and held an engagement ceremony with the entire family of 70 people joining the celebration.

However, the sudden demise of Kishan’s grandmother left him shattered. Fenisha stood by him through these difficult times, and Kishan realized he needed her by his side. He then planned an American style proposal on the bridge overlooking a lake at the Millenium Gates Museum. Fenisha couldn’t hold the tears back when she saw her favorite ring.
Fenisha and Kishan planned a traditional wedding complete with fun-filled rituals, including the Grah Shanti, Mehendi, and Pithi, all of which were attended by a large gathering of families, friends, and relatives. The garba was a vibrant affair with a pink backdrop, bright lights, candle holders, and delicacies. The traditional outfits and and memorable entry to the garba on a rickshaw made everyone’s day. The whole setup seemed straight out of a movie, especially when the couple’s four-legged furry friend Atlas Patel arrived wearing a traditional garba outfit.
On January 19, 2020, nearly 1,100 guests attended Fenisha and Kishan’s wedding at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia. The wedding venue was filled with the aroma of roses, hydrangeas, and carnations that were spread along the aisle to mark Fenisha’s entry. The spirit of celebration heightened as family members delved into the nuptial rituals.
A beautiful starry night theme led to evening celebrations with a starlit backdrop and dance floor for over 800 guests. Fenisha and Kishan shared their first dance to the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Fenisha danced with her father to the Bollywood song “Dear Daughter” by Samarth Bhamari, and the performance brought tears to the eyes of assembled guests.

Neema weds Jeet Indian Wedding at Durham Convention Center Photographed Pixology By Shray
Neema Dave and Jeet Patel’s love story was anything but typical! In fact, their story is one of a role-reversal. When Neema saw Jeet performing at an event, she was smitten, and decided to find him on Facebook. She left him a message, not sure whether he would respond or not. Jeet did reply and asked Neema out. For the first date, he took her stargazing where they spent hours talking and getting to know each other. Jeet knew then he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Neema.
The couple hired DNS Events to help them with the vendor search and selection process. Neema and Jeet stayed involved with the entire process. The couple chose the Durham Convention Center in Durham, North Carolina, as the venue for the wedding and pre-events, which included the mehndi, pithi and a Family Night Gala.

Their wedding was a beautiful, personalized celebration. From recreating their first date to personalized menus and welcome signs at the events, they both added their personal touch wherever possible.
Instead of a reception, the couple decided to host a fun Family Night Gala the night before the wedding. The theme for the Gala was elegant, romantic and regal. During the event, Neema and Jeet recreated their entire love story from their first meeting and first date to their proposal.
Jeet and Neema recreated their first date at the Gala complete with a starry lighting effect, followed by a dance performance to a song about falling in love under the stars. Neema also prepared a surprise performance for Jeet. She danced to “Kala Chasma,” wearing sunglasses that were personalized with their wedding hashtag, #Jeema.
Aside from the personalized menu, guests were offered personalized drinks, Neema’s favorite Pelligrino and Jeet’s favorite Cheerwine, a local favorite. Neema and Jeet’s ‘wow’ moment came when their first saw each other in their wedding outfits. Neema said, “When we had our first look, it finally hit us that we get to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Being together makes us better people and completes us. And we were so happy that after the year of planning that moment was finally here.”

Shivani weds Aakash Indian Wedding at The Hilton Orlando Photographed Fine Art Productions
Imagine taking a stroll by the water in a park and suddenly you notice rose petals on the ground and a photographer clicking away trying to capture each and every moment of your movements. Before you know it, your best friend and your soulmate is on one knee asking you to marry him. For a moment you want to pinch yourself to be sure you are not dreaming. This was not a dream, but reality for Shivani when Aakash proposed to her at Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa.
After this romantic proposal came the real work. Planning and picking the right wedding vendors so their big day went as smoothly as possible. Planning a wedding along with trying to juggle between work, looking for a house, community service, and trying to have some sort of social life, seemed almost impossible. Luckily, from the very beginning Shivani and Aakash hired Umangi Patel & Rikti Smart with Elite Dream Creations. Shivani recommends any bride planning a traditional Indian wedding to hire a wedding planner! They have creative ideas and clever ways of efficiently handling certain situations.

Given most Indian weddings are large productions with several events and lots of people. Shivani and Aakash planned to invite more than 700 people for their celebration, so picking the right, and large enough, venue was a challenge. A venue in Orlando was ideal since Aakash lives in Tampa and Shivani in Viera. The couple wanted to be sure to find the right location, with hospitality and the right price tag. The Hilton Orlando offered everything they needed for their fairytale wedding.
The couple’s big day was November 9, 2019, and included pre-wedding events such as the Mehndi, Sangeet and Pithi.
The wedding ceremony was indoors. The Occasions by Shangri La decor team created a true vision in the ballroom. Upon entering, a beautiful floral ring of white, ivory, and hints of blush pink, hung over the mandap, with four hanging wisteria vines. The walls were covered with a beautiful golden drape and two massive Ultra HD screens projecting a live feed behind the mandap. Two white floral peacocks were resting at the front of the aisle, which was all white with floating candles lined across the side.
When planning the reception, Shivani wanted it to feel like the first day she met Aakash at Tomorrowworld. The stage was designed and decorated exactly the same way to resemble the stage where the couple originally met. The Grand Finale of the wedding came when couple’s first dance performance began to the tune “I Like Me Better” by Lauv. Schamir, one of Aakash’s groomsmen, played the piano while Hanna Malik, Shivani’s friend, sang the song.
